Smoke Screens Everywhere
#1
When the corona madness started, I said they would use war as a smoke screen to hide their mistakes and their crimes - and I was unfortunately right.

All the leaders need to be fired, and then humanity should choose the best of them to lead. Then we could get a real democracy.

Don't lose hope.

I think I would be more comfortable if leaders were chosen at random from their country for service of one year each. That way at least they can do little damage and some might actually do good while in office.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

That would be great except for one issue, legislation and the judicial branch take FOREVER to do things because there is so much red tape you can get tied up in and the system is abused to purposely tie it up so that the next guy will have to deal with the last guys bs

Do not consent to things that don't make sense.

It makes sense to me.  Grin

Why doesn't it make sense to you?

Did they manage to disarm you?

I am not talking about guns here, but more an inner strength.

If they disarm us, we type with our toes.

Or beak.

That is called sortition and it is the only sane method of government. The aliens are staying the hell away and won't contact us until we figure that out and implement it globally.

Have you noticed that many try to keep religion out of the question?

Except there is a wrinkle to consider...

To the politician,
whose entire existence revolves around being "chosen" to be at the center... crisis is career gold.

They immediately present themselves and "use" every focus moment to first virtue signal, then shame their opponents... in some way.... it's predictable.

Politicians have adopted the narcissist mandate.

They "use" every moment...

Old people use to call it "prestige..."

"He or she is a hero." when applied to politicians more often means "they played the situation well."

(And of course, which media combine beats down outlying dissent... as an "appearance.")
