Slaughter Bots! How to Fight Back!
#1
I've always known of the strategic way these deadly drones could be used. With AI technology they can easily swarm them at anyone they want. With extreme precision. They can be mass released and attack with very little risk to the masterminds behind them.  Good to be aware of the potential for mass extermination.

Even better to know how to avoid them. Smile

Do they say any thing about that in the video? I don't have time to watch videos.

I suspect these drones are no more protected than any other flying widget.

What matter is "how they see."

You run if you can't respond...

Tactics will out.

There is no threat of mass extermination by drones. It would be much easier and more effctive for the AI to just stop all food shipments. Half of humanity would be gone in two weeks or less. Quickly in cities, more slowly in the countryside.

The drones would only be used for attacks on individuals and small groups. You would have to be considered a great or immediate threat to the AI system to get droned.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

Sewers and cave systems seem to be vulnerable areas for their tracking...

Subterranean perceptions.

NO. But an EMP pulse AI weapon might. If that is possible.

I only remember them mentioning a shot gun type of gun. They can only hold so many rounds. And with thousand coming after you.... You need an AI controlled lazer. Or something else that is extremely fast and doesn't cost a lot to operate.

It's just that there would be so many.   Good luck.

I have to assume these weapons - theoretically sent in (dramatic sounding) swarms are not going to prove to be more than a terror/crime weapon in practice. Conceptually a poor-man's guided missile... so to speak.

Once they have a target, the are no longer a swarm.  But each will display vector and intent...  we may not yet have a field weapon deployed to react to a swarm attack... but I can't believe it's not possible...

How and why I would find myself targeted by a swarm is another matter... better to evade.

Sensing tech is not yet infallible...
