Hello and Well Met everyone,

I've been a long time lurker of ATS and even a member of Rogue Nation for a time. After some things in my life went very sideways, I made the decision to go "off grid" for a while. But in light of recent societal developments, I'm now climbing back out of my "Hobbit Hole," because one can only turn a blind eye to the world around them for so long before that world decides to kick in the door. Hopefully to those that remember me, I can be welcomed back. To those I've not met yet... Well... I genuinely apologize for the debates and frustrations to come.

I do agree with you...  DI has definitely become a great place for meaningful discussion and to see what is happened in the world., much like ATS was in its prime. 

But... in true imitator fashion, I was just mirroring MalevolentTwitch’s original post (my life went very sideways, and the whole world kicks in the door line).  Not about DI...

Well see, that's actually the reason I'm back. It used to be that I'd wake up and read both aforementioned forums with a cup of coffee and a cigarette in hand... Just to gauge the temperature of the day. I didn't care so much about the headlines or the breaking news. I've known for the last 20+ years that the only good and honest news is no news at all. No, what I cared about most was just how heated, agitated, and repetitive the comments and replies were.

When there's an international platform or forum and the viewpoints of each reply is as unique as each individual... That's a good day. But when there's an international platform or forum and there's naught but 2 or maybe 3 replies being drummed out and chanted along with the beat? Well, that's something to pay very close attention to.
