Scottish independence accounts go dark after Iran internet blackout

Agreed, but I’m saying that our governments do the same.

The crap we hear about Canada being the 51st state. How the US is going to invade Mexico to wipe out the Cartels. Hell, even the divisiveness being pushed in the US alone is more than likely driven by outside influence.

I can only speak to the Canada as a 51st state bullshit and say, “Not f’in likely there skippy”. “Get bent, we have enough assholes who think they are in charge and know what we want.”

And the gun/owner ratio a little north of the most populated cities and within the forests would scare even the most right-wing gun-toters.

Just asking questions, then how popular is the free Alberta movement?

Canada is large enough that it should be several states when it joins the US. At least four. Anything else is unacceptable. You should have a slogan:

"51-54 or Fight"

Now be careful or the Pentagon will start sending you cheddar cheese in a can, to corrupt your culture.

Each province would have to be a state. Period. BC coastal folk would be absolutely like west coast people in the states. Interior BC would hang with Alberta and Saskatchewan, and maybe part of Manitoba. Ontario and Quebec would be the greatest pain in the ass the US has ever dealt with and the Maritime provinces would ignore the whole lot and go about their business.

As for Alberta independence? It’s unlikely as it’s usually just the southern part of the province that gets pissy. What are we going to do as a landlocked nation? Morons.
I personally am not voting to leave Canada and certainly not to join the US. Regional disparities are everywhere. Countries are stronger united, as we can all see happening around the world.

Of course these are my opinions, but I have friends and family across the country who pretty much feel the same way.

As usual, my 2 pesos…

Cheddar cheese in a can? Good lord, anyone who would eat that is the kind of person who gets out of the shower to take a leak…

Thanks

I do know eastern Washington and parts of Idaho and Oregon have some residents that would like to form thier own state, but Im not sure of the percentages but I doubt its higher than the 19% for an Independent Alberta.

Of course, very unlikely to happen here or in Canada, but it's semi-crazy that there is even an organized movement.

LMAO

There are more guns/gun owners in Texas alone than in your entire country.

Thats completely correct.

Farmers and people who live in the countryside here in the UK can own the likes shotguns and rifles for pest control.

That's if they get the right police-issued licence and can show a valid need for a weapon.

But the type of guns and how much ammunition you're allowed to have depends on the licence.

I mean, outside the cities and towns, guns are owned, but like you suggest, not in the sorts of numbers available across the pond or even in Texas.

And hopefully it stays that way.

Because they are not wanted.

End of the day, different strokes for different folks.

Wrong comparison if your military come a hunting in the forests up there.
