Salvador Dalí

Oh Salvador, the master…

The trickster of painting, a madman of time…
A crazy self promoting nut, not a nut at all…

The brain of a poet, a lurker for words…
A man for love, not loving at all…

The beast in a moment, never enough time…
Silly your two-step, a master of words…

A painter by day, a stalker at night…
Gifted each second, with something new…

I see you in the moonlight each day and  each night…

He has a sweet museum in Florida. I loved it! This one was there. I wonder what he was smoking when this was painted!

Very synchro wave you are riding. I just started Dali's only novel, Hidden Faces.
It's pretty good so far.
It has really good psychological insight into human nature and the characters.
Also I learnt about French politics circa 1935ish.
The Catalonia/Catalunia is a good sandwich at my local French bakery.
Prosciutto ,olive aioli, arugula, chorizo and Manchego.  If i recall. yum yum

Yum! I really want to read his book.

I went to his museum in Florida. It was eye opening. Some of his work is so insane. Insane in a great way.

Thank you for posting this!

I recommend starting with his autobiographical works, especially Diary of a Genius :)
I would love to check out the FL museum one day.  It was started by a single collector who bequeathed his collection to become a museum on his death.
