My dad used to say "The future is in two areas... pure mathematics and material science..." (As I rolled my eyes and thought of that movie where the guy says... "Plastics.") ...
Huh... He was right.

isn't it how weather balloons are operating? sure it is one way to counter the gravity. not all that convincing when explaining UFO sightings, especially made by pilots...since Wright brothers era.

this still confuses me
antigravity? can anyone explain this simply?
anyway is this how these things work?

Isn’t it glaringly obvious the modern day sightings are always in military training areas even the well known Calvine photograph was taken in a military training area.

confirms my bias that these things are ours but what do you think?
this disinfo?
recovered tech?
I think the tic tak and orbs are ours.
I find it unlikely. When was the first tic tac spotted? A quick search I got 1948. I am not sure that is correct. But if it is then no they are not the US military.
Another reason I find it impossible to believe the military has learned how to defy the laws of physics is. They most likely would have learned how from a crashed UFO. But you are talking about reverse engineering something that was destroyed, and is probably thousands if not millions of years ahead of us.
Even if a fully working UFO of any type was given to all the worlds scientist. They would probably be decades trying to figure out how to turn it on.
There is no reason for any alien life to give our military their technology, so we can destroy each other. They could simply destroy us by lobbing a few mountain sized asteroids our way. Even if the military had a alien from a crashed UFO, that they could interrogate for the purpose of learning their technology. According to UFO abductions, they could easily retrieve their lost pilot, before any information was learned by us.
There is no scenario where I see the military having alien technology or technology that defies the laws of physics that they figured out own their own.

The early ones were probably not of human manufacture, but that doesn't mean the later ones weren't.

First of all, if these things fly (whether human or NHI) then they are not defying laws of physics. They are using laws of physics that most people just don't generally know about. Second, you have no way of knowing how far ahead of us the NHIs might be in terms of years. Science and technology has been progressing at an exponential rate, so they might only be a hundred years or so ahead of us. Personally, I suspect that they started increasing the tempo of their appearance here once Einstein proved the atomic theory of matter, discovered quantum physics, mass-energy equivalence, and Special Relativity. Once that happened (1905), we had most of the intellectual underpinnings needed to start to understand how UFOs work.

It has been decades. Closer to a century, actually, depending on when you want to start counting. Personally, I think the Aurora Texas event of 1897 was a real UFO. Ditto for Magenta, Italy, 1933. Ditto for Cape Girardeau, Missouri, 1941. Ditto for Los Angeles Air Raid, 1942. All of which, in my opinion probably resulted in retrieval of craft and occupants. And then the pace really stepped up after WWII.

Maybe the NHIs are giving us some of their technology so we DON'T destroy ourselves (and them with us). The fact that they haven't destroyed us yet even though they obviously could, suggests that they want us around, for some reason.

I agree with your last statement. Over the years, many individuals who claim knowledge of the legacy program say the same thing: "We had help".

I agree with your last statement. Over the years, many individuals who claim knowledge of the legacy program say the same thing: "We had help". Quote:First of all, if these things fly (whether human or NHI) then they are not defying laws of physics. Okay I should have said. They are performing maneuvers that are impossible for a human piloted aircraft and in some cases drones/missiles. Which seems like you would need to be able to manipulate gravity to make that possible. Although I am sure there other options. All of which are current science fiction to us.
Quote:Second, you have no way of knowing how far ahead of us the NHIs might be in terms of years. Science and technology has been progressing at an exponential rate, so they might only be a hundred years or so ahead of us. Inter stellar space travel or interdimensional travel is far more than a few hundred years off. The best estimate on nuclear fusion 50 years.
Quote:Maybe the NHIs are giving us some of their technology so we DON'T destroy ourselves (and them with us). That seems unlikely. For one, they are giving it to the wrong people, the military. If they didn't want us to have nukes, they could have stopped that long ago. According to reports they have already shown they can easily disable weapon systems including nukes.
Quote:"We had help". There is no reason for aliens to help us. Why give information to the military? Why not give it to the world? But if life in other parts of the universe or other dimensions is anything like life here. They are not here to help, and if alien abductions are real. Most of those are not helping people.
They are experimenting on them. Which is exactly what I would expect from more intelligent creatures. That's what we do, we even experiment on our kind, not just the lesser intelligent creatures on the planet.
I am not saying the military doesn't have some advanced weapons. I just don't see any reason for aliens to be giving it to them. That isn't to say they couldn't learn something from a crashed UFO. But I doubt they have figure out anti gravity, or some other form of travel, interdimensional maybe.
