In this situation, it makes him look guilty. AH, if he grants clemency.

Besides, nothing she can say or show will satisfy a decent percentage of people, myself included; it would have to be ironclad, rock-solid with even more corroborative evidence and testimony

They can spin it either way. If he refuses, then he's "covering up" and doesn't want the world to hear what she has to say. If he acquiesces, then he's letting her off the hook and any testimony is tainted because she perhaps struck a secret deal to downplay his nefariousness.

Problems cannot be solved by the same system that created them. I think someone smart said something like that once.

Personally I think the photo is AI generated and the memo being shown was an unreleased draft. There's others in the files with the proper date.

I also think it's quite possible Epstein was secreted out and a double was put in his place, and part of the cover-up of that is raising weak "smoking gun" arguments that are easily refuted (eg run an AI-test filter on that photo), so the entire thing can be dismissed as a "debunked conspiracy theory".
