Partisans always do that with vague and uncorroborated evidence. Democrats just as much, or more so, as Republicans. Remember Russiagate and 100 other crusades and windmills? It doesn't matter except to preconceptions.
What matters is tangible evidence such as photographs, court testimony, and verified witness interviews, not phoned in tip-line schizo garbage or third-hand stories. Those are useful only as outrage-bait.
Since the left is in "attack Trump" mode, the pattern is: 1) "Look this is a Trump and Republican cover-up they're pedos!", and if the evidence is flimsy and ambiguous or points to Democrats, then fall back to 2) "All powerful politicians are the same, you Republicans just want to defend Trump and get Bill Clinton!".
It's sadly predictable. Epstein was a Democrat. As if that matters. I'm cynical about even the courts being able to be objective.
And this is all obscuring what in my mind is the main evidence from the Epstein affair: proof that nation-states, including the United States, and financial and other institutions are merely levers of power for a game being played by a transnational elite with absolutely no loyalties at that level. Have you seen the Epstein emails indicating how the Greek debt crisis was fabricated? No? Too busy being distracted by the idea of prurient island-tugs? That's the real cover-up.
