People do get up and go to work everyday even knowing for a long time how fucked up humanity is. Currently our leaders are not off on some island doing any of that unless you have a lead on the next Epstein.

Our current leader is trying to rebuild the economic damaged caused by these people because it's more important to triage and stabilize the current civilization so it can quickly turn around and properly fight the monsters that put us here. 

But you want to nuke the whole thing which would result in billions of good people dying and mostly bad people surviving into the next iteration of civilization. To put it simply you want a loop, I want a continual progression that seeks to better itself with each release cycle without losing all the good things that been achieved.

That's law enforcement's job. There could be an Adrenochrome factory within miles of your home. When found it is shut down and investigated. Through that other big and little fish are caught. If someone in government or law enforcement covers for them they are investigated. etc etc.
