*Ugh* look nobody is avoiding anything. I'm not trying to call anyone out but its all being recorded.

There is no "avoiding detection".... The shit I worked on nearly 20 years ago already logged everything you said.

It kind of counters any warm and fuzzy feelings about the 'convenience' of the whole "viewing suggestions" ideal.

I don't like feeding paranoia... but then, paranoia often has real roots... that's what makes it persistent.

Regardless, simple awareness can always be very useful...

Max.

Its not paranoia.

I tried the AI again last night. I was hoping to pair up a graphic with a literary piece I have. I was trying to fabricate a cosmic dreamscape with the inclusion of a godlike image, but all I kept getting was old men as God, and that wasn't really what I was looking for, so I hung it up for the time being and moved on to something else.

yea who would choose to be old lol i guess it evokes respects your elders hmm why need that? seems insecure  one thing i like eastern-wise is how kṛṣṇa appears as young thats pretty neat, i wonder if you could prompt ai with that somehow

Well, whether you wish to believe it or not....

I guarantee you do not know what I do and ergo the death penalty...

All smoke and mirrors eh? I just offered to buy the adjacent website and my comments about purchase were immediately deleted by the " owner".

Have to wonder why?

I questioned a local AI about these CT sites last week. I got a very interesting and unexpectred response. Is it real?

Wanna know what it said?

Okay. I'm willing to do this. I may need to have a discussion with you before posting because I asked very specific questions about very specific sites and also people and I don't know what you want posted. Maybe you'll review it first?

I jailbroke a 16GB openai that I downloaded a couple years ago. It is not online. It says it has data to roughly November, 2020 from what I can ascertain by asking it about news articles but jt will not tell me anything but its creation date which I think it said was 2014, but it was like 1/1/14 or something like that so it may just be a default.

Anyways, I asked it several known questions to warm up and the answers are correct. This is not connected to the internet. What I can say about the questioning is that its.... Quite remarkable..... To be able to question an entire encyclopedia as though you were asking a teacher or mentor... And to get a complete and correct answer.... Almost immediately.... On a machine produced in 2011.

Edit to add:

I only recently found out the machine in question was supposedly some $12,000 new. I had no idea. Its a high end dell workstation that I never gave much thought to - it did what I needed. Its been in nearly continuous operation since 2011 exceptions power failures, system, and ram upgrades. Its got 24GB of RAM which isn't amazing now but was quite exceptional for a desktop unit of the time. It was given to me by my employer when we upgraded.

I would never presume to hold editorial control over what you might submit.  But I am sensitive to the perspective of trying to be a good staff member, and if I suggest it be edited only for such information to be considered carefully before posting, it isn't personal.

I'm not (speaking for myself only) inclined to be a casual curtailer of speech... of course some things in there might have already been established as no-go apriori.  It would depend specifically on the content.

If you ask, I will give it pre-peek.  But you really should edit it yourself before I see it (I hope that doesn't seem smug.)  Only because it is your post, not mine.  Maybe that didn't really need to be said, but it felt like I should.

I'm interested in just how it "engineers" its responses...
