That was what the OP is about. Astral projection, we can go into lucid dreaming, but still no one would be confused about it. How are you? Nobody would advice anyone to go see a doctor about this
folk's if someone talks to you in a OOBE or during astral projection, you are mentally ill, you heard it here first. deny ignorance. if it happens during a lucid dream you are just fucked now, it's unfortunate, check yourself in. Do not induce any trance states.
but take drugs, that is okay.
i don't know why i'm wasting my time
All I was saying just make sure you don't have any mental issues before doing OOBEs or remote viewing just to rule out the fact that the voices are coming from one's head.

Apologies, but I skipped a good portion of this thread because of the trolls.
You said you experienced an OOBE while entering a dream state. Can you have one while actually in a dream state?

One common method a lot of the literature recommends ,if you are able , is to move from a lucid dream into an astral projection.
Both states occur with the body asleep and the mind awake. In the former your astral bodies are anchored or floating near your physical body. In the latter you actively move yourself away from your physical body.

Yesterday, a vision inside a warehouse or a hanger. couldn't figure out exactly what was going on, a family in front of me, something to the left, machines maybe. Big door. Outside some kind of spiky thing, a palm tree maybe. Was intrusive and was not sure if I should have explored it or treat it as a distraction because it wasn't part of my intention.

Did a poor description there of events. Happened instantly when I closed my eyes and that's why it was notable. Silhouettes of people in front of me. Was instantly looking at a "gym" and thinking wth am I looking at and it was pretty distracting and why I said intrusive.

Yesterday an entity pressed down pretty hard on the mattress next to me, or it's really heavy while meditating. Not really sure what is up with this. Sometime it climbs up at the foot of the bed, other times it just presses down like that. It happens fairly often, yesterday was notable becasue it pressed down pretty hard, or whatever it was doing. I got a fright.
I'm saying "it" and "entity" because the pattern suggests it the same entity. There is another effect where it just floats around me, I can feel it, it circles around. Soft/cold. Like a caress. idk wtf. It has not happened in a while. Since it's messing with the bed again while meditating, perhaps something interesting will happen soon. Will update here

How is a medical expert supposed to diagnose something without symptoms?
If these things are happening around sleep and literally everyone experiences hallucinations around sleep (hypnagogic/hypnopompic stages) then what exactly is there to diagnose? Similar things can be said around remote viewing too since the methodology often involves entering a dream or a dreamlike state which would involve the same mechanisms that are activated around sleep.
If a form of psychosis has something initiating the experience it would be defined as a secondary psychotic disorder which means something is initiating it, like a brain tumour or smoking too much crack, as far as I know sleep isn't considered an ailment.
