As for waving the “colours” and to the OP, why is it bad or worse than waving the Union Jack?
I am sure this guy has made a lot of enemies along the way and who is to say his group is not infiltrated by opposing ideological group members out to sabotage?
I'm not sure I know enough about the Union Jack, but maybe we should ask an Irish person what they think about it.

Fair assessment. And F him if he is a pedo.
Alas I think you might be surprised to hear what the Irish would say about the people that find this offensive flag bein waved in modern times.

I agree but from what I see when watching true crime docs is that these types of pedos have many long reaching tentacles everywhere when it comes to this deviation, especially multiple electronics for this purpose.

How do you know it's not that hard?
And I imagine just about every pedophile ever detected or caught with spurious images on their hard drive claimed someone used a backdoor to slide the information in.
Real life, however, is not always an X-File.
And if you notice, he seems to be walking back the repair shop did it routine, and moved on to claiming loads of other people had access to the laptop.
Sometimes a beast is just a beast.
And thats why.
The issue isn't the flag.
It's that some of the people waving it are far-right nationalists, racists, or sectarian bigots.
That's what deserves the criticism, not the piece of cloth itself.
Let's judge the people and their behaviour, not the flag.
And this one is in court for having and/or making kiddie porn images...
Which, considering the hate-filled, xenophobic, racist rhetoric, he's known to punt, is rather apt to say the least.

There isn't a single Irish view of the Union Jack.
It depends on the person's background, religion, politics, and where they live.
A lot of people in Northern Ireland see it as their national flag associated with British rule.
In the rest of Ireland, let's just say it's not exactly loved with a passion, considering our ""complicated"" history.

Isn't this 'Cullen' geezer of obvious southern Irish Catholic immigrant stock? Just like Tommy Yaxley Lennon whatever. I'ev known a few local types like this, they also have Irish catholic names! Raising the Union flag seems to attract these people who a few generations ago despised the Union Jack and were blowing up our military with car bombs. There's something not right about these types

Ive not got a clue if Cullen is Catholic or Protestant, Orby.
I mean, "Cullen" is an Irish surname, with origins in Gaelic, and it can also be a Scottish name.
But im old enouth to remember the troubles.
Another nasty time full of fear, hate, and pubs exploding...
It's the fact that Tommy Robinson called him a c#nt and disavowed all knowledge of him, and the same with the "Raise the Flags" people.
I mean if his own crowd refuses to stand in his corner, you have to ponder why?
But if he's found to be innocent, i do hope he's exonerated...
Wonder how long the court case will last, and if it's an open court?

Or even members of his own group that want him gone.

Oh right I didn't realsie it could be Scots apologies i just thought it was Catholics for some reason. Possibly Aussie or NZ rugby players. This flag waving stuff is doing my head in. They're trying to take our flag and make it something else a bit like they did with the English flag in the late 70's. Crazy stuff, I guess the pole people feel under pressure or something from the changing ways of this island. I'll read the whole article to find out about this Cullen chap.

No apology necessary, the name does come from a historically Catholic country.
And many people named Cullen will indeed have Catholic heritage, so no harm, no foul.
As to the fella in question, im trying to find out more about him also.
