If anything i would say she looks Latino as opposed to Black.

Google suggests she was born in Miami and grew up in Spain.

I suppose we have to start using Pantone™ numbers...

Well, female politicians call themselves black or native American sometimes, I guess if you are five to ten percent black they consider themselves a person of color...since black is a combination of all colors, it is appropriate to call them black to identify their nationality.  My son-in-law is blackish, but actually he is Hispanic but both his fathers and mothers side had some black in them.  His mother is pure Guatamalan but she is dark, because some of the Islanders and others of South America are black.  Since when did black become a bad name.

Must have to do with black heads you have to deal with on your body.

or those pesky crows that tear up the trash,  But the whites tear up the trash too, the seaguls are just as bad.

Using someone's race or color to identify them in a video or in a group isn't bad.  Now if you say to someone asking who you talk to about signing up at a function, do you just say get ahold of the woman in that room full of women talking to each other, or do you use a description so they can quickly identify them.  Oh wait, they are now saying we have to call everyone they so we cannot even say find the women if there are mostly guys in there, how is that going to make things easier, it is as bad as technology supposed to make things easier and faster...  I like things simple, the simplest solution is the best solution..

Meanwhile, the whole video might be a hoax trying to attract viewers, it may just be a way of making money from deceiving people to view their videos leading to more profits for those people.  Social influencers make quite a bit of money sometimes from their videos.  I can't say I even believe that video is really legit.

Goddarn pesky labels.

You think they tell you exactly what something is.

But half the time, that's only half the story.

Then again, take them away.

And watch the fun and games really begin.  Spin

How about those pesky labels.  Someone asks someone for help at the store and the young person says, That old guy with gray hair can help you.  First, if you listen to all the BS these days, calling someone old is rude...and saying it is a guy is now bad, and the gray hair is no longer a sign of wisdom...it is calling someone demented and is now discrimination.  so if the stock girl at the store just says I don't know about it go find someone else, it seems that it is rude, but if she describes anyone else it is now rude.

I am thinking our new society is going nuts, I can say that because I am addressing everyone in society.  And to be honest, everyone is nuts about something or another, I have known lots of people when I was more of an extravert, and everyone is a little nuts, including me.  We are all squirrel bait.

She looks somewhat black.  My son-in-law is a mixture of spanish and Guatamalan, he is quite black.  His father was just like him.  He actually has a mixture of African genetics in small amounts, and his mother also has some black genetics common of some of the Islands in south America that have had black people on them for a thousand years at least.

So his total black genetics is maybe four percent...yet he looks pretty dark, darker than the woman in that clip for sure.  My brother in law was Micronesian, he was pretty black too, but they have different facial structure than black people do.  I have no bias against black people at all, as long as they aren't jerks, I dislike Jerks no matter what color, sexual orientation, or class of society they are in.

But I usually just avoid associating with jerks, I do not argue with them, I just walk away or change the subject.  It is lots easier to avoid jerks on sites on the internet, you just don't respond to them anymore and they don't go after you.  They believe they won, when in fact, they did not, I learned long ago that Ad hominum techniques are out there, and in reality, it is no use wasting time trying to explain things to trolls or shills.  I do like real discussions though, and constructive criticism is appreciated.  I lost most of my beliefs when I learned that almost everything people say is real is only partially real or just their opinion.  That includes science, much of what research is used for doesn't apply to what the research actually shows.

And in reality, it doesn't matter, no matter what a person believes, as long as it does not personally effect you, they have their right to believe in it.  As long as they do not try to shove it down your throat, which seems more common now than it was fifty years ago.

Who said is a bad name? It's just bad identification.

I'm white, but with a couple of weeks on the beach I get darker than she.

No black heads on my body, I have good skin. Smile

Which video? The one posted on Instagram by Paola Ramos or the YouTube video in the opening post?

After reading the above and thinking about it for a moment I noticed that I never use physical characteristics to point someone to someone else, I prefer to locate them or identify them by name.
I never thought of that before. Smile

It's simply not a topic I would broach with the person unless they brought colour up.

As you suggest, treat people as you find them, that way, you can't really go wrong.

But in the real world i tend to say the hell away from the likes of religion, politics, and colour conversation-wise.
