If we have these, ‘just drones’ don’t make sense.

How are they just drones above our military bases, nuclear sites, sensitive sites in New Jersey etc if we have these devices capable of taking down drone swarms?

Video on X/Twitter

Are they "hardened" drones and the tech is worthless?

Are they true UFOs?

They claim these things are drones over our sensitive sites.

Things just don’t add up to me.

It's a silly question. They are obviously ours pianopraze.

It's possible.

Imagine some government/military research entity found a way of protecting drones (and other hardware) from those anti-drone systems.
What would be the quickest and cheapest way of seeing if they are really working? Sending them over military facilities and see what they could do against them.

You mean other than the fact that there are no C-UAS systems that are even at IOC, let alone Milestone C? They haven’t even completed testing on any of them. Any that are deployed, like to the AOR, are undergoing field testing.

This is hard to.nelieve but I can only find testing reports.

we had high powered microwave weapons back in the 90s. I can’t believe they are still just mucking about.

here are some tested: Popsci
Quote:And in December 2020, Richard Joseph, the Air Force’s chief scientist, said that THOR had been deployed and tested in Africa for base defense.

there was a navy one that was tested but I lost the link.

defies reality we don’t have these systems in the field already. Another Pearl Harbor moment incoming we don’t get squared away. China owns land next to several of our bases!

HPMs in the 90s were inefficient, bulky, and not ready for most of the missions we wanted them to do. The ones that were actually deployed were low powered and wouldn’t be able to stop a drone swarm that was about to hit it, let alone at any kind of long range.

The Navy has several systems in testing, but most of the Army and Navy systems aren’t doing well in austere environments. HELIOS didn’t perform nearly as well as hoped when it was sent to sea.

THOR sounds like it’s doing well.

already test deployed to one base.
