However, where is the limit on new discoveries? It's like you're a broken record anytime a new discovery is unveiled. What's concerning, is the fact that you discount any prior advanced civilization. The evidence is overwhelmingly there. Deny it all you want.

The guy you're defending claims that humans took the earth by defeating the giants.
And I'm not talking baseball here.

Actual archaeologist (Barnhart) vs. pseudoarchaeologist (Hancock) on theories, interpretations, and conclusions:

"Ed Barnhart is an archaeologist and explorer specializing in ancient civilizations of the Americas. He is the Director of the Maya Exploration Center, host of the ArchaeoEd Podcast, and lecturer on the ancient history of North, Central, and South America. Ed is in part known for his groundbreaking work on ancient astronomy, mathematics, and calendar systems."

Quote:An ancient conspiracy has been quietly burgeoning behind the bustle of the modern world. From the mounds of America, to the megalithic ruins on the island of Sardinia in the Mediterranean Sea, the desiccated bones of dead giants are being systematically dis entombed and secreted away to clandestine vaults for apocalyptic purposes. While occultists are attempting to harness the arcane necromancy of the Canaanites, genetic engineers are working feverishly to reconstitute the genomes of the giants, and resurrect the dreaded race of Rephaim in the earth. In this explosive episode, Steve Quayle, Timothy Alberino, and Tom Horn pick up the trail of the Anasazi Indians in the Desert Southwest of the United States. Their groundbreaking investigation reveals a dark and gruesome secret concerning the sudden annihilation of this mysterious tribe, and a cover-up of gigantic proportions. What they discover will demand the re-writing of American history. Join Timothy Alberino as he explores the enigmatic island of Sardinia in the Western Mediterranean Sea where the skeletal remains of giants are still being extracted from the tens of thousands of megalithic towers and tombs all over the island, and hear the jaw-dropping testimony of those who were hired by the government to dig them out.

No, no he does not. He believes that the Younger Dryas event wiped out the giants.

I've just been looking for DNA evidence of a giant race ever existing. It never existed - it is a myth - so say the genealogists.

The archaeologists claim when bones of giants are found that their heights are exaggerated and so that is how misinterpretation and misinformation gets out there and propagates. That's not to say, the so called 'giants' were not dissimilar to a tribe/society of very tall peoples, such as is found in some tribes in Africa.

Oh.
Well then, pardon me!
It's certainly possible for a nonexistent event to wipe out an entire race of nonexistent creatures. Lol

One way people become giants is by kicking your ass. Then the king wants to know why you lost.

As a lowly non accredited peon in the Sciences can you please explain to me , if you have time, why/what the evidence is that the Younger Dryas cataclysm never happened?
Thank you sincerely.

Oh ok. Now the Younger Dryas never happened. You do realize that geologists and scientists consider the event as a fact now, don’t you?

I believe he's referring to the "comet extinction theory" that involves the Younger Dryas and a comet that seems to be composed of ICBMs that target single species for extinction (while leaving others in the same habitat and similar econiches and similar size alive) and have variable delay fuses of 1 to 1,200 years or so (the extinction took place over a period of roughly a thousand years.)
