Seems a lot of people these days are worried about 'overpopulation' but thought the vid below contained some important factual info about the mythology of the subject and the subversive propaganda put out by misanthropic Malthusian cultists.
• A Stunning Admission on the So-Called Population Crisis
Also some sober reading in this 2021 NYT article containing relevant statements from German demographer Frank Swiaczny who was the chief of population trends and analysis for the United Nations:
• Long Slide Looms for World Population, With Sweeping Ramifications
Quote:All over the world, countries are confronting population stagnation and a fertility bust, a dizzying reversal unmatched in recorded history that will make first-birthday parties a rarer sight than funerals, and empty homes a common eyesore.
Maternity wards are already shutting down in Italy. Ghost cities are appearing in northeastern China. Universities in South Korea can’t find enough students, and in Germany, hundreds of thousands of properties have been razed, with the land turned into parks.
A paradigm shift is necessary,” said Frank Swiaczny, a German demographer who was the chief of population trends and analysis for the United Nations until last year. “Countries need to learn to live with and adapt to decline.”
The change may take decades, but once it starts, decline (just like growth) spirals exponentially. With fewer births, fewer girls grow up to have children, and if they have smaller families than their parents did — which is happening in dozens of countries — the drop starts to look like a rock thrown off a cliff. “It becomes a cyclical mechanism,” said Stuart Gietel Basten, an expert on Asian demographics and a professor of social science and public policy at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. “It’s demographic momentum.”

When it comes to the root cause of 'overpopulation' propaganda then this short vid from the Population Research Institute also does a good job of explaining how a deluded vicar (named Thomas Malthus) once did some simple math in his head about food.. and then concluded that killing poor people was the right thing to do.

Overpopulation: The Making of a Myth
That vid also mentioned how 1960's author Paul Ehrlich eagerly took up and promoted the propaganda in his book 'The Population Bomb' and some further research below exploring how his predictions have been ' so remarkably, consistently and staggeringly wrong'.
Quote: Meet Paul Ehrlich, Pseudoscience Charlatan
Why is it that this entomologist has become such a superstar of science, received so many accolades and awards, and wielded such influence over the public conversation on population despite being so remarkably, consistently, staggeringly wrong about the issues he presumes to lecture the public on?

Lots more factual info out there but did think this was a good final article on the 'poisonous ideology' of Malthusian cultists - also a nice cartoon.
• Bill Gates and the Myth of Overpopulation
Quote:"I am publishing this excerpt now because the poisonous ideology of “population control” — a branch of eugenics — is rapidly being revived in Western public discourse"

• Malthusians:
Looks like lots of infamous folk have also fallen for (and actively promote) misanthropic Malthusian pseudoscientific propaganda and there are some relevant historical examples below - don't know how long the vids will be up so you may want to download (the first one's a classic).
Video Links:
• Ted Turner
• Prince Phillip (See 1:00)
• David Rockefeller
PP's Bill Gates Senior (Co Chair of the Gates Foundation) was also a rabid advocate of Thomas Malthus and there's some interesting info below about a secret meeting between David Rockefeller, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, George Soros, Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg etc. which took place in Manhattan on May 5th, 2009.
Quote:One would have to turn to print sources to discover that the meeting was held at the personal residence of Sir Paul Nurse, then-president of Rockefeller University; that the invitation to the gathering was co-written by Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and David Rockefeller; or that the aim of the meeting was "to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world's population."
There's also this part about ' covert vaccine birth control' from the same link:
Quote:But the idea of using vaccines as sterilization agents—even without the public's knowledge or consent—is not conspiracy lore, but documentable fact.
In its 1968 annual report (PDF), the Rockefeller Foundation addressed the "Problems of Population," lamenting that "very little work is in progress on immunological methods, such as vaccines, to reduce fertility, and much more research is required if a solution is to be found here." The Foundation vowed to correct this problem by funding "established and beginning investigators to turn their attention to aspects of research in reproductive biology that have implications for human fertility and its control."
This was no empty promise. By the time of its 1988 Annual Report (PDF), the Rockefeller Foundation was able to report progress on its funding into contraceptive research, including NORPLANT, a contraceptive implanted under the skin of a woman's upper arm and effective for five years. In its 1988 report, the Rockefeller Foundation was pleased to announce that NORPLANT—which was developed by the Rockefeller-founded Population Council—was "now approved for marketing in 12 countries."
The Rockefellers' Population Council and other research organizations joined with the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1972 to create a Task Force on Vaccines for Fertility Regulation. By 1995, they were able to report progress in "developing a prototype of an anti-hCG-vaccine," which works by combining an immunogen formed from a synthetic peptide of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG)—a hormone secreted by the surface of the early embryo to remain implanted in the womb—with a toxoid carrier molecule. The vaccine stimulates an immune reaction, causing women to develop antibodies against the hormone, thus preventing them from carrying babies to term.
Bill Gates and the Population Control Grid
It's been said there's a kind of ' profound anti-humanism' at the centre of the Malthusian 'anti natalist' agenda so would be interested in folk's views on the content of the links and vids (if they view them).

If it weren't for the fantasy of controlling all of mankind, and the utility of the "ideals" of eugenics, the population misdirection would never have been pushed.
The concept of a species breeding itself out of existence has no parallel anywhere in nature. (No creature in the biosphere has ever done it.)
And yet every arm of the apparatus to "influence" humans gleeful hopped on board to promote the idea.... "we're going to simply breed until there is nothing left."
I remember as a child resenting my parents for scoffing at such a notion, thinking them foolish for not 'accepting' the propaganda...
They would be laughing today except... Whose kids are going to grow up to tend to our future?

Appreciate the thoughtful input mate and when it comes to lunatic Malthusian, eugenicist views on humanity there's a good example here from George Bernard Shaw (also the bit afterwards).
As for Paul Ehrlich (and his coauthor John Holdren) then thought there was some truly interesting content below where they both advocated the sterilization of people without their knowledge (by contaminating the water supply) and promoted laws which required 'compulsory abortion'.
Quote:Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment" 1977
Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution..
Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control.
Article:
1972 Article Unearthed: ‘Worse than Hitler’: ‘Population Bomb’ author Paul Ehrlich suggested adding a forced sterilization agent to ‘staple food’ and ‘water supply’
The reason it's interesting is because THIS article covers the same book and John Holdren stated that ' a leak at a biowarfare laboratory would be a potential solution to the human population explosion' and called for ' a planetary regime to enforce human population limits'.

All of the rich get rich off the less rich. This also goes for taxes, the people pay taxes. If the people are reduced then the wealth and taxes are also reduced through both reduction in consumers and taxpayers. The rich and government types are just shooting themselves in both feet.
They seem to be of an intelligence level that cannot reason this simple fact out.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?

I suspect it has to do with their "objective."
All wealth we use is the property of the bank. Taxes included.
If we eliminated the taxes, they would contrive to make all the prices of everything skyrocket... it's how they play their game... sideways.
I's why the WEF and the Banks exist... so they can create the impression that the "globe" is what matters... a clear indicator of their "target."
"The world is in peril" is an illusion that has persisted since communities of people became so large. Of course, "they" have a solution... a whole slew of illusions... all ending in them being perpetually empowered and enriched. It makes sense to them. For who can argue against those with immeasurable wealth? Money = free speech... another one of "their" doctrines.

BeyondKnowledge thanks for the post and yes that's true in the system we've got at the moment.
If it then 'resets' to a completely 'resource' based economy then the only thing surplus humans become (other than obsolete) is a threat.
Don't know if you've seen it but thought Patrick Wood made some interesting points in this interview about the extinction of cash/barter in a fully integrated, technocratic, resource based economy - especially when one factors in full spectrum satellite surveillance, enforced cybernetic behavioural control grids, comprehensive biometric tracking, mandatory CBDCs / SC scores etc.
Whatever the case looks like planning for the 'new international economic order' (neo feudalism) is nothing new and preparations for 'technocracy' as replacement for 'free enterprise' have been in the works for quite a while now.
Could be very wrong but looks to me like they're increasingly steering people towards an end to Fiat currency, private ownership and the monopolization of all the world's resources (whereby all means of production and consumption would be controlled by one 'elitist group').
If that's the case then who needs surplus humans anymore?

Thanks for the thread:
There has been a population collapse averaging just about every 300 to 400 years since records and archeology records have been known. Korea today as well as others have birth rates crashing so... seems like population control has a built in mechanism. Skip to 4:03 to miss the Ad.

Well whether it's 'covert vaccine birth control' (see Rockefeller 1988 report), covert sterilants in the water/food supply or any other number of factors it looks like population collapse is most definitely a thing mate (there's also this wacky quote taken from the Nuremberg thread).
Do remember reading that there has been a fifty percent decline in global sperm counts over the last 57 Years and there's some very interesting comments here by Dr Shanna Swan who's conducted some relevant research on phthalates and Bisphenol A.
Would also recommend this doco if you've not seen it before.

Certainly an interesting vid there mate and thanks for posting it, he does raise some intriguing points and I also liked his book list in the description.
Was reminded about half way through the video of the (pretty horrific) results of John B. Calhoun's 'mouse utopia' experiment so wasn't surprised when he brought it up at the end.
There's a background check on Calhoun (and those who 'funded' him) linked below and thought it was a pretty fascinating watch.
Could well be the direction humanity is headed (herded) - especially when you factor in the planned overcrowding and the absolute lack of privacy (and human sovereignty) in future 'smart cities'.
Quote:You’ve probably heard about John B. Calhoun’s mouse utopia experiment by now. Everyone’s been talking about it recently. But what does this experiment really tell us about the human experience, and can we avoid swallowing the poisoned black pill of the propagandists when covering this highly anti-human idea? Join James for this important exposé of the Malthusian eugenicists behind the great reset.
