Planet X Discovered?

They may have discovered Planet X

A massive world is believed to be silently circling the Sun in the frozen depths of the outer solar system, far beyond Neptune and Pluto.

A new search has whittled the data down to one primary candidate... a set of pixels showing an object that moved the equivalent of one and a half full moons in the sky over 23 years.

The models suggest it could be a planet up to ten times the mass of Earth. Other recent estimates narrow this to between 7 and 17 times Earth's mass.

First I must say, calling it "Planet Nine" dismissively sidesteps Pluto's 76-year tenure as our ninth planet. The scientific community and online influencers continued use of that nickname is being used as an historical erasure.

The term "Planet X" has a full century of precedent (from Lowell's 1915 search) and carries none of that dismissive baggage.

So here here is a possible discovery... of Planet X

It also could be a blackhole or a passing star, etc...

The upcoming Vera Rubin Observatory is expected to provide a definitive answer soon by performing a comprehensive scan of the deep sky.
