OKC bombing redeux?
#1
A stolen U-Haul van was investigated and found to be carrying containers holding approximately 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel according to police in Rancho Cordova, CA.

https://www.cbsnews.com/sacramento/news/...0Boulevard.

Rancho Cordova is a suburb of Sacramento, the capital city California.

As anyone familiar with the 1995 bombing of the Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City knows, diesel fuel, mixed with ammonium nitrate (a component of common fertilizer), can become a powerful explosive.

Although reported as just a simple, typical police recovery case; this incident set my "red flags" waving. Especially in the context of all that is taking place in the US at the moment.

No suspects have been identified, as yet. Hopefully the FBI and ATF have been read in.

I live just a few miles from where this potential "bomb truck" was found.

Just to posit the "innocence" angle... it is also possible that some dumbass wanted to "stock" up on diesel and had no real idea of how that is to be transported... he got caught... and is an idiot.

Media being what it is, would never rush to air that possibility.

It would appear down in paragraph three of printed press, at best... in video, probably not at all.

Just for arguments sake...

No worries.

If this was another Oklahoma City, the FBI would already be involved.

This or the Diesel was illegally obtained and was going to be sold "Black Market" style.

I will say that there are three Tesla dealerships in the area where this happened, and I could see one of the very progreen energy yet somehow anti-Tesla people wanting to blow up one of the dealerships. Can't rule that out as of yet, but my bet is on the black market selling of this pricy community which hovers around 4-5 dollars per gallon (that could be an easy 8-10k from a simple fuel heist).

If it was another OKC event, I would be wondering if the FBI is looking into a White-Water type of scam.
