Hello All

As many here were, I am an old ATS user. Created a few threads, posted on many. Mortified when it died out. I'm thrilled to find this site, and to get back into my nightly reading and discussion. Even the "wacky" stuff is great reading, and plenty of good stuff to be found. Wait...Paul McCartney isn't really himself????? Anyway, glad to be here, hope to get into some great stuff and enjoy the company.

I've got to get used to this new format, but I've got a thread I want to post and get thoughts on. Give me a few to get comfortable!!

I do have a theory though that Buddy Holly faked his death and became John Denver whoosh!

I think the wackiest thread I ever read was by someone who claimed they fought an alien during an abduction attempt and had stabbed it?!?!

Yeah, the new format take a wee bit of exploring, but the overall look is pleasant on the eye.

No, the theory is that he was decapitated in a car crash. There is a tremendous amount of plausibility to it. And this practice has been done before. The Beatles were simply too big of a brand and money making machine, to let it all fade away with the lead singers death. I'm not saying I believe it. But it wouldn't surprise me at all. Keep in mind, there was no hi def, internet, social media. It would be very easy to swap someone out in the 60's. And Paul wasn't very unique looking for a Brit.
