"They" or "them" must identify as non-binary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and are known politically as NB-TMNT. Racism can be involved where tortoises are concerned as turtles and terrapins live in the water or wet areas while tortoises are strictly land dwelling. For example, you'd get into trouble calling a tortoise a "box turtle" while in the wrong neighborhood.

Although turtle/tortoise racism is considered systemic, the NB-TMNT community is working toward equity. Even if the pace is very slow, progress is growing by the inch.

Your quote is Metaphorical, and a well known and quite fun one, and I get it, but it doesn't belong in Common Reality .

Basically this mentally disturbed human and those that facilitate their condition need to at least read their work contracts. And "Turtles" don't use money but I bet this one has a bank account for their wages.

It reminds me of kids who want to be identified as cats and want a litter tray in the restroom at school. We don't educate cats do we? They don't belong in a school.

Well, for what its worth, that's why I wrote "that might have not existed". Of course, there may have been someone somewhere sometime that did say that, who cares. It is a funny quote, hence why I answered with it.
