Quote:Yes, and no. The answer to that question is somewhat complicated. Perhaps it might be more accurate to say “the United States was intended to be a republic, but has grown into a democratic republic.” But this runs the risk of elevating original intent to divine revelation. The Founding Fathers were wise to provide guidelines and opinions, yet they could not have anticipated the complex needs of such an enormous nation.
The United States is a democratic republic, or a representational democracy, depending on if one takes a state-upward or a federal-downward view of things. Popular government runs the risk of mob rule and losing the individuality of its constituents while the republican form can take on the specter of elitism and rule by the few.

I could go on but I’m sure you get it now, right?
This is what the press is telling you.
Those numbers are fake and they know it.
That’s why they blame them on the organizers and won’t fact check the real numbers.
No Kings isn’t front page news today because they know it was a flop.
If the news told you oxygen was bad yall would be passed out somewhere.
I'd post videos of the huge crowds but you'd just say "fake".
But yeah, only two actually showed up, Sid and Doris Bonkers, I suppose?
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope. Nothing...

Well its certainly not a monarchy, or hopefully likely to be any time soon.
Hence the "No Kings" part.
Yeah its complicated, sill no need to end the 249 year old experiment imho.

According to multiple polls, Donald Trump’s approval rating declined after the No Kings protests.

Same thing the J6 twits did.
If the J6 twits are a threat to democracy,
Stop saying that. There were credible and reasonable indications of irregularities in the 2020 election. The J6 protest was organized by "Stop The Steal", who wanted a fair and accurate democratic election. You say in another post that they were protesting against "free and fair democratic election results". You can't say those election results were free and fair, you have no proof of that. Investigations have been shut down and evidence disappeared. The most you can say is something like "there's no evidence the election in 2020 was stolen".
Just because you seem to have decided that protesting against the results in 2020 is a losing battle—which I agree, it very likely is—doesn't mean you have to submit to the Democrat line. It's sad to see; usually you have more spine.

I voted for Trump 1. I like the ideas he says on occasion.
The actions are another kettle. Only partial love for Trump 2.
Trump 2, Dark Brandon, cackling Kamel, and the crew of nasty Congress Critters have proven to me a few things:
1. votes dont count, it's a selection
2. It's a uniparty system. They pretend to hate eachother but they are all in it for the money.
3. In the end, whether by personal (political) will or not, both parties are working to end American sovereignty and the democratic republic, and are working hard to put in place a technofascist nightmare that say what you want, aligns it with a global shit-system like the EU and China.

Now I do think there is some inkling of attempting at the level of the subconscious and in the Trump Administration to actually try and put America First. I applaud the appearance of trying to strengthen the borders. I question how many people are truly being detained and deported.
I also applaud trying to bring back American manufacturing and bolster our side with tariffs, BUT I question the detrimental effect on people like American farmers.
So I prefer this flavour of President, but I question the ultimate worth.

Your sources don’t say what you’re saying they say.
Did you even look at them?
The most recent poll from TODAY October 20 shows Trump UP after the No Kings virtue signal.
https://www.economist.com/interactive/tr...al-tracker
“The president's net approval rating is -15%, up 0.3 points since last week.
40% approve, 55% disapprove, 5% not sure”
