I've read that satellite photos put the damage about halfway between the Russian and Ukrainian claims. My guess is that the peace process is over, and Ukraine will be destroyed in a losing war.

I think that is a given. Ukraine can't "win" this war.

Best case scenario is they give up a decent amount of their territory.

But, Russia can't win at this point either. Even if they manage to take a good amount more of land, what was the cost? Who takes Russia seriously after losing to such a small non peer? Whether or not they were able to insulate themselves from the global economy while producing an impressive amount of shells aside, they just don't have the capacity to deal with a peer.

This is wild! Ukraine somehow got a cargo Truck (trailer/18 wheeler). Filled it with drones? Attacked an airbase deep inside Russia and then the Truck self destructed??? My God.

I think there is no possible way Ukrainian forces could pull this kind of thing off without MI6 and CIA help. Plus it's like 4k miles from the Ukrainian border isn't it?

Shadow operators trying the ugliest possible provocations to induce catastrophic Russian response, and nobody of official importance told Trump anything. Its an attrition war...most people don't seem to understand this. The goal isn't specifically to take ground. Its more to grind down the other side's resources...especially manpower and moral. It will be a whole lot of not much then things start to crack. We are starting to see the crack now with the pace of Russian gains. Eventually the cracks aren't fixed and it all cascades into a landslide. Thats what we will see in this war. Right now the west is propping up Ukraine with everything but manpower. Once their manpower runs out it will go down fast. You can send all the equipment in the world...if there is no one left to operate it...you're fucked!

If you can't see this happening before our eyes you are either dishonest with yourself...or with everyone else. A blind man can see where this is headed without brail.

Why on Earth would they put dummies on airfields so far away from Ukraine anyway?

With all the money we and other countries spend on "What Ifs" why does it take something like this to open people's eyes ? Is it because the big defense contractors scoff at anything that cost less than a hundred grand and figure cheap is not worth their time ? Last word I got was the drones the USA sent to Ukraine last year cost a fortune and did not work as well as the FPV drones that were domestically produced and were a fraction of the cost. 2d thought did Boeing get the F-47 contract to keep their defense products afloat as they have not done much of anything worth a damn lately according to the news.

This is the part where it makes Russia dangerous, will they do something drastic to regain the lost status, the lost dream of the old Soviet Union, the lost dream of being more to Europe than a gas station?


Europe should NEVER be energy dependent on a country that European countries belong to an international organization devoted to defending themselves from the same nation.

You mean that treaty that Russia suspended in 2023?

OK? The treaty is still in effect whether they suspend or not. They don't have enough operational bombers to break the treaty even if they wanted to. Its why the US hasn't pulled the remaining G models out of the desert and done all the depot maintenance actions to get them to H models.

As a former Boeing employee I can guarantee you they are indeed doing many things worth a damn. The MSM hates Boeing, especially after the layoffs and the incidents.

100% agree. However the issues they have had do think it could be from internal threats, lazy workers or just legit accidents?
