Motorcycles - Just started the journey
#11
On trips, stop before your tired. Temperature (Hot and cold) is more noticeable and feels more extreme. Figure out how far your tank will go. Remember cars will go alot further on a 1/4 tank and when you get out of urban areas gas pumps may have lots of miles between them. Toping off a half full tank is easier than walking.

Carry at least one bandana. One last tip, pushing on the left side handgrip, on the highway will move you left just like drifting.

Most important... enjoy the trips and don't worry about where you're supposed to be each day. God knows where and will get you there.

Thank you for the recommendations! The BMW has a massive 8.7 gallon tank. This contributes to its top-heaviness. It''s a beast!

My old girl Molly, She’s an ‘89 with a lot of miles and personality.

She’s a bit top heavy as well, but smooth as silk. None too quick, but epitomizes the “It’s not the destination, but the journey” cliche…

If it’s hot, wet and sticky and it’s not yours, don’t touch it!

She's a beauty! I head to PHX on Wednesday morning. Sending doggy to his vacation at the doG sitter in Rimrock.  I will enjoy this training - for once! Typically, I'm annoyed as hell with any type of 'schooling'. This time - my terms.!

I think you will enjoy it, it’s adult learning as well so…

Some of it you will remember and use forever and may save your life and the lives of others.

Relax and take it all in.

Enjoy!

The SWEET Deal with the bike --  the previous owner put around $8k in upgrades. Including front and rear built in cameras! Which means -  I will document  this shit for you folks!

Please be patient with my very limited editing skills..... First trip in June!
