Sounds like good news, what does the perpetually panicked and paranoid peanut gallery postulate  [Image: PgmMSCxh_normal.jpeg]

I would suggest that if he did not, Bessent or Miller informed him very early in the planning.

But it's exactly what some financial analysts suggested would happen; it's hurting us both, but it hits the Chinese harder and faster.

So says some YouTube videos. The video you posted purports to show vacant manufacturing buildings as if they had been recently emptied,.all due to the tariffs that haven't even been implemented yet.

How long until they start showing videos of police nailing workers into there apartment buildings? There is a whole thread on the imminent fall of China.

Time will tell, but some things are being a bit over blown.

One can believe whatever they want to....the videos are backing up what Im hearing after being in the apparel business for 40 plus years.

My industry gets virtually all of its merch from China, about a half dozen or so are my friends on Facebook that I know through the apparel industry work at various suppliers in China. Most are at half staff and will be shut down in 4 weeks or less, unless they can make other products to sell in other Asian markets.

Im not trying to downplay either side of this. The trade war will have a world-wide affect. Mostly negative.

Many benefits that America will see, will be years away.

Meanwhile, I have been told for the last 20 years that China is in imminent danger of collapse. That would be fine with me, but I'm taking an I will believe it when I see it approach.
