Till we address the mental health crisis effectively, these types of incidents will continue...

Our schools can't identify potential problems and couldn't act on them if they could. 

Schools should have all faculty trained in mental health and or a mental health staff embedded within the school.

There should always be a professionally trained mental health professional for students to talk too.

Absolutely what I was thinking about this all along.

Fact: the shooter's 7th grade friend? said he would bully and insult other kids, she also said he showed no signs of gender dysphoria at that time. The problem is that school staff would have a difficult time in assessing his behaviour because anti-social behaviours and psychotic behaviours can exhibit the same red flags. As well, she added that he only did those behaviours when school staff weren't around or looking. So that leaves friends, romantic partners and family to report the serious red flags.

RIP Harper and Fletcher. I hope that all the other shooting victims pull through.

Not being trans tolerant has already been used. That was used for the last trans shooter.
