You seem confused. Are you asking about the very small number of legal gun owners committing their first crime? The whole idea of background checks is not to allow known criminals to have guns. Because they are in fact criminals, they ignor laws. That is what criminals do. They don't care about gun laws or other laws. 

You are asking about information about non-existent people. They ether haven't broken certain laws yet or they are not legally in possession of a gun.

What's wrong with the entire concept of making America great?

I get that anti-Americans don't want America to be great, but Americans?

If ya'll feel that way then move to North Korea or China.

America is already at a pinnacle, with internal operational statistics showing tremendous growth and efficiency, economic power in the world, military capability and creative output in the arts and media.

But the slogan isn't "Make America Great", it's "Make America Great Again", implying that there was some past legendary time that America has fallen away from.

This idea of legendary greatness has been used by oppressive regimes going back to Ancient Troy, Rome and Greece (and probably back into prehistory). Definitely it was used by the Italian Fascists and Nazi's.

Ask yourself, if a country is already at the forefront of the planet on so many things, is it reasonable or sane for it to waste effort and energy trying to get any greater?

Perhaps America, as a nation, needs to heal, chill-out and enjoy what they already have, because there are so many other poorer countries with better standards of living, more general comfort and happiness, more leisure, less internal division, and less crime.
