I would never want to work at a place where three women going through their change of life were my bosses.
It might be better for me since I am a guy than if I was a woman. I think it is possibly that female hormone that increases after having kids that forms a bond of families that goes off kilt during that time frame. Maybe it disappears and they are not used to it yet. It usually seems to clear up after about five years, but I am not really knowledgeable about it, I just got to witness what it does to women when that happens, and try to stay clear of them when they get moody from that. The female doctors know how to balance things out, they helped my wife settle down somehow but I know women who did not have a good woman doctor who got real cranky about that time. I still got my head, it was not chewed off. Darn, my daughters will be going through that in another five to eight years, time to stay away from them if I am still alive.

Feck working there.
It sounds like a real hostile environment.
I mean if people cannot sort out their problems.
Without involving others or summoning corporate, they are part of the problem, really.
I would look for another job if at all possible.
And find somewhere to work that is not full of punk ass bit@hes.

Amen to that!
God is good, I applied for a job that night and got a call the very next day and I got the job! I’m super psyched!
Wanted To add: My old boss says to me before I left “You didn’t do anything wrong”, and I’ll still see you in here. I told him No you won’t. He says again Yes we will. Again, I told hm No you won’t”.
It really was the most toxic environment I’ve ever worked in! Adios Bitches :)

Now that you have seem to have charted a course... I can speak more freely about something I have found that most HR professionals never want to hear spoken...
HR is a 'company' operation. Despite the intense and robust verbiage their "press release" principles, they represents only the interest of the corporation/organization... they protect the business against liability... it's their prime function, the only reason they are receiving paychecks.
They are definitely "nice" people... it''s part of the paradigm.
I truly believe that most people struggle to not be arbitrarily mean, which HR is specifically sensitive not to provide triggers that would escalate the complaint... which could represent 'revenue impacting outcomes."
But some of them actually do present a genuine attempt to "help"... (But not always with certainly if it helps the company or the complainant.
The adult word is adult... which somehow means people disregard or reject anything that 'makes' them 'feel' a certain way.
Obviously that social strategy has led us to the idea that we need people problem solvers in every business... even if they are human problems... that never really had to do with the business in the first place.
HR as an institutional operation, was and is necessary...
But the lie's told about "We're here for YOU." and "To keep you safe" are just the ultimate cause of unacknowledged betrayals of expectations... over and over.
In a perfect world the answer would be ... "Go to HR."
In today's world that is most often is the reason that good
people are made into victims of corporatocracy...
Many of us have probably witnessed the invisible abuses... and not even recognized them.

Will I miss the photo dept absolutely, that was my niche, building canvasses and various creative products was awesome and I loved it, but time for a change.
Happy to be moving on!
I am happy for you :)
You see what one bad manager can do to a whole work place?
Happens at the wife's office all the time.
And everyone is afraid to stand up to her. She even made people cry and quit.
A real shame.
I hope you enjoy your new work !

Well, im glad you are clear of that mob.
It can be soul-destroying working in an environment you don't like.
Good luck in your new position.

I'm glad to see you got away from the situation. Back stabbing co workers are just a pain in the ass for everyone. I wish I could have given advice, but I've never worked in a corporate setting. I was always Blue Collar { coal miner } and "conflict resolution" was a contact sport, usually settled after work in the parking lot.
.....come to think of it, I'm not sure if we even had an HR Dept.

Thank you everyone who responded.
I spoke to s/v #4 today (we are sisters in Christ), the poor thing is panicked she’ll be targeted next. I told her the blood of Jesus protects you!
…… and avoid the crap out of them.

The whole thing sounds kinda bizarre, it's like being in high school all over again, sounds a bit dysfunctional/dramatic. And that really sucks if you enjoy the job, it doesn't seem like healthy environment to work in.
A tough spot being in the job market at 60(almost there myself) I'm one year into new job as a cinema equipment technician, I enjoy it and it's a pretty niche thing, so glad all my coworkers are awesome.
I have no idea as to 1, 2 or 3 being the main culprit, I guess #3 has a history.
Good luck sorting it out, maybe put out as many feelers as you can towards a new gig.
Edit..I see you got a new gig..good stuff!!
