I have some for you, but I am not a rude angry person posting insults on an anonymous site.

I'm better than that.

Good one, play the ole "holier than thou" card. Usually comes around that those who play it are rarely the "holier" one.

Feel free to move along at any point. Since you have never added anything to this thread just derailed it by being the self righteous dweeb you always are.

We know you can't not have the last word though

I watched two MAGA blokes interviewed on Jan 6th.

Both fat and armed and in camo.

You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

Assumptions, assumptions. And like most assumptions made on the basis of bigotry and prejudice (‘you people’ is always a tell, isn't it?) completely false.

You have yet to present a single verifiable datum on this thread. Your opinions are not facts.

Another uninformed, opinionated right-winger flees the thread in defeat. Bye-bye, then!

I think conservatives are more narrow in their thinking and more focused on specific end goals.

Creative people open up their minds to more possibilities — making them thinkers and explorers.

Intelligence is nothing if not applied. Creative people have more avenues to expand their application of intelligence.

I think Liberals/Left tend to fall more into the Creative mindset — therefore a more expanded intelligence.

Oh, I don't know about that. Right-wingers, or do I mean right whingers (let's not insult conservatism by assigning it to this sorry lot) can be pretty damn creative when dreaming up libels, slanders, scurrilous rumors, scams, boondoggles and excuses for their own failures and crimes.

They often view things in simplistic ways and fail to understand that a topic is more intricate than the catchy phrases they rely on.

Yes — that is true.

Also — they’re about control — and you can’t control a creative thinker.

Those that “color outside the lines” frighten them.

I chose conservative on purpose. I think that’s how they see themselves.

I intentionally avoided labels given to those that would fall into this group.

They are about control and of course would use any of those you mentioned. And they would feel justified in doing so.

For me RW’s includes religion — another form of control.

It’s hard to get into deep conversation when doing this on a phone.

Well, no-one's going to call themselves a rabid right-wing radical, however true it may be.

Conservatism is a respectable if intellectually rather barren political philosophy. It is based on the premise that society works fairly well for the most part even if it isn't perfect, and that steps to improve it must be taken with great care lest the unforeseen consequences of our actions end up making matters worse.

The classic conservative motto is, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.'

Now take a look at MAGA and its fan club. Are they, by the above definition, conservatives at all? Certainly not – they want to tear American society apart and build it up according to their own design. They have destroyed countless institutions, all of which were working well enough even if they weren't perfect. The social and economic outcomes have been predictably disastrous.

Now, on top of all the other destruction they have caused, they have dragged America into a losing war against Iran that successive previous administrations, whether Republican or Democrat, were too conservative to embark upon. And now the global economic system, which was working pretty well (at least before Trump introduced his idiotic tariffs) is broken too.

Conservative? Well, call them that if you're concerned for their feelings. But if you would speak of them accurately, call them what they truly are: right-wing vandals.
