Last Meals

What is with the "last meal" and "last song" all af a sudden? Is this a about WWIII, a rumor of DI ending, or just the end is near that has been  going around for thousands of years?

Made this thread out of an abundance of curiosity after seeing entire YouTube or Facebook channels about famous people's "Last Meals".

Ok, emu eggs I know and have eaten, you fkn seen ostrich eggs? its like 6x the sive and will destroy your hacksaw that the are some freakish spaz emu that shits bloders. 

We carve emu eggs, not going to happen ostrich eggs.

Chicken and dumplings and proper Southern biscuits, Hank's root beer in a frosty mug. A couple of scoops of proper vanilla bean ice cream with some caramel sauce over top. There's other stuff that I would love to eat, but if you're asking for the last meal, that would be my go to.

King crab would be a god choice if I was not having to do all of the work to crack them myself lol  (if it's my last meal I don't want to fight with anything) Otherwise, I love a good crab boil. 


Deep dish meat lovers is always a good choice.   Any specific restaurant?

There are some great places here, but nothing that is the real Chicago deep dish, Straight Brooklyn does a really good pie, also AJ's Straight Brooklyn. I would love to travel check out some real Chicago or some of the actual New York pizza joints!

That is a pretty solid lineup. 

Always been a huge fan of root beer in a frosted mug, up here we have (well i guess had, they still exist but you can't get the frosted mug and they took the old style beer tap away it used to be served from) A&W, that was always my favorite.

I have never had the chance to try true New York or Chicago pizza, definitely on my food bucket lists. But I love a nice deep dish pizza, lots of sauce and lots of cheese. 

If I ever find myself in your neck of the woods, I will give those pizza places a try.

Filet mignon medium well, alfredo penne made with fresh parmesan and fresh cream, a heaping slice of Tiramisu and a slice of New York cheesecake.

I like everything about that.

For a guy who loves cheesecake as much as I do, I never go out and buy(or make) cheese cake lol    I guess I should really fix that

Go to Mississippi or Louisiana - find a concrete block building in a neighborhood you won't go into after dark - get a double order of whatever BBQ they have on the grill with all the sides.

Those are instructions to live by for good BBQ. I know this will get me hung in certain areas, but I grew up on KC BBQ, and will always prefer it. I love all BBQ, but not all are created equal. 

I will follow the same instructions for good tacos, almost anywhere. 


There used to be this cinder block building across the street from my high school that had barely enough room inside for 2 people to stand, essentially dry humping each other, but those were the absolute BEST authentic tacos I have ever had. The matriarch passed away, the kids took it o0ver and tried to turn it into a dine in restaurant, it only lasted 3 months before they shut down forever.
