Well by now, most of us have heard of Kneecap, the Brit hating Irish rappers who are famous mostly for their gaelic lyrics, their antipathy to the British and winning the right to receive 14k off the British government for their art :)

I actually dont mind this lot, I gotta say, I cant blame them for hating everything British considering where they grew up etc.
If I was born to a Republican family I would have likely gone the same way.

Now though, they seem to have lost their spines, apologising profusely for saying people should kill their local Tory MP's.

Get tae feck!  No one demanded an apology on behalf of ordinary Brits killed over the years but  now Tory MP's have been named the whole of parliament demands and gets a bloody apology? 

This is idiotic, utterly stupid and, for me, destroys any hint of legitimacy the group may have once had.

My friend in Cork reminds me there are more issues with illegal immigrants/migrants than with Brits.  They are better off focussing on all the foreigners being bussed boated and trucked in rather than Tories; one could say this smells of distraction.

Who gives a fuq about Palestine in Ireland now really? if they are thinking straight they aren't making romantic notions about freedom fighters against the colonial oppressor, rather they would be rapping (lol I typed singing at first) about the Nazis in brussels destabilising sovereign nations.  But that hits too hard.

Edit to say also how free is Ireland now really anyway? not much and the problem starts abroad.  the EC wasn't so bad but as soon as the EU came around it went above economy and into culture.
