Trump said if Hillary wins he will not accept the election results thereby starting his election rigging con job schtick. This guy Cole seemed obsessed with corruption of governments and way before Jan. 6 Trump used that same con.

There is nothing you can cite that is considered violent political rhetoric from Trump where you made false claims the Cole Jr was programmed because it was suggested he was autistic.

Your false assurances fail.

She also cited the release of a letter by FBI director James Comey as having lost her close races in key states.

What is important to note with this Cole person is 'what he believed'. He believed your government was corrupt and how did he come to believe that. Well, we need to learn more about this through what the courts find out, but research has already been done on stochastic terrorism, and, to me, this is what this incident fits most accurately.

"Stochastic terrorism is an analytic description used in scholarship and counterterrorism to describe a mass-mediated process in which hostile public rhetoric, repeated and amplified across communication platforms, elevates the statistical risk of ideologically motivated violence by unknown individuals, even without direct coordination or explicit orders.[sup][1][/sup][sup][2]" (Wikipedia)

---------------------
Trump spreading election fraud lies, and subsequent investigations proved them all to be lies.

"[/sup]3. Disinformation, conspiracy theories, and perceived victimhoodDonald Trump entered presidential politics promoting the racist lie that President Obama was born outside of the United States. After he was elected in 2016, large numbers of Republicans embraced the “QAnon” conspiracy theory, which suggests (among others things) that the Democratic Party is run by a ring of Satan-worshipping pedophiles. When Trump lost the 2020 election, he and his followers falsely claimed that the election was fraudulent."

"Of course, it’s not just people with right-wing beliefs who are vulnerable to disinformation, and all people become receptive to violence when they feel threatened or powerless. After the attempt to kill Trump, social media platforms were flooded with conspiracy theories, suggesting, for example, that the assassination was staged by Trump himself to gain sympathy in the wake of his criminal convictions."

"They found that speeches which preceded violent events tended to express more anger, contempt, and disgust (ANCODI)—but not fear, happiness, sadness, or surprise. These negative emotions tended to target specific outgroups—Jews, in the case of Hitler’s speeches."

(Trump's rhetoric "Fight like hell or we won't have a country any more.")

"When it comes to violence, leadership matters. There are many, many studies—starting with Stanley Milgram’s classic electric-shock experiments—which show that people are much more likely to inflict pain on others when an authority figure tells them to. When leaders engage in violent rhetoric, so do their followers; when they urge calm, people do calm down. Research has documented that words do have an impact on both beliefs and behaviors."

"Taken together, these studies suggest that our political leadership—everyone from pundits on cable news to the President of the United States—would do well to avoid promoting the political tribalism that leads people to strongly identify with one group and demonize the other. They could also reduce the use of angry, contemptuous, and disgusted rhetoric to refer to political outgroups. And Americans everywhere could learn to rely less on the echo chambers of social media, where moral convergence and affirmation can fuel violence against people and property. Most importantly, we have to be able to stress civility and humanity toward the other side, even when it’s difficult."

You are all missing the point of the driving factors of shoastic terrorism, because none of you bothered to read the results of the study I posted. Trump fed into it from day 1 as other leaders have done since the first invention of the term 'drain the swamp' and it continues from both parties, but with even more division and violence generating rhetoric from Trump (the loudest).

Read the study I posted, educate yourselfs.

YOU are missing the basic fundamental truth that the bomber isn't a time traveler and he couldn't have been inspired to bomb people over Trumps rhetoric when the fact is that the rhetoric hadn't started yet when the bomber got the materials and make his plans.

And add to that he tried to bomb both the Republicans and the Democrats, which is something he woudln't have done if he had been inspired by Trump rhetoric.  He would have only gone after the Democrats.

Swing 3 ... and another miss.
Third strike.  You're out.   Lol

You don't get it, Trump started his 'drain the swamp' and if he loses the election then it's rigged rhetoric in 2016, what year did Cole plant the pipe bombs. Yeah, home run.

"Drain the swamp' is just fine.   And he won in 2016 so any 'rigged' rhetoric was proven wrong.  His win killed his own chatter.  There was nothing for the bomber to go on to motivate him.   So no.  You still fail ... again.

Your responses are so predictable. It doesn't matter whether the rhetoric was wrong or right, again the point is missed. Trump's type of rhetoric throws it out there for certain types of people who already believe in conspiracy theory of government corruption and how they view their victimhood or their role and how they should 'fight back like hell' or put two pipe bombs at a government building to just blow it all up.

Trump threw it out there during his first campaign, and kept spewing the government corruption con, as well as continuing the election rigging con.

Why do you continue to push this false narrative?

Or did you forget about Trump's  Voting Integrity Commission?

The sole purpose of the Commission investigation is the Trumps ego couldn't believe he lost the popular vote.

Making fake assurances about what’s being posted by the individual you are “debating” with who has no great love for Trump just makes you look more like a political hack sounding propaganda.  Where people are happy Cole Jr was arrested which should have been a priority under the Biden administration specially since Harris the Vp was so close to one of the devices.

Quote:Chairs Loudermilk, Massie release January 6, 2021 Pipe Bomb ReportJanuary 2, 2025https://cha.house.gov/press-releases?ID=...D7536BF577

The FBI’s Investigation into the Pipe Bomber:
  • The FBI did not receive “corrupted data” from one of the major cell carriers in connection with its investigation into the pipe bomber.
    • A former senior FBI official testified that the major cell carrier companies provided “corrupted” cell data to the FBI and suggested that that “corrupted” data may have contained the identity of the pipe bomber; however, in responses to letters from the Subcommittee, the major cell carriers confirmed that they did not provide corrupted data to the FBI and that the FBI never notified them of any issues with accessing the cellular data.
  • In the early weeks and months of the investigation, the FBI took significant investigative steps to identify the suspect, including issuing geofence warrants, analyzing cell tower data, conducting forensic analyses of the devices, tracking the devices’ components, and reviewing hours of security camera footage. The FBI identified multiple persons of interest during the initial weeks and months of the investigation, including:
    • A person of interest who searched the term “pipe bomb DC” online prior to law enforcement’s discovery of the pipe bombs but after their placement.
    • A person of interest who on the morning of January 5, 2021, took photographs of the area behind the RNC where one of the pipe bombs would later be planted.
    • A vehicle of interest carrying a passenger matching the description of the suspect that drove past the RNC minutes after the suspect planted the pipe bombs.
    • A person of interest who owned the same unique pair of sneakers as the suspect (Nike Air Max Speed Turf sneakers) and who worked “in the area of the crime.”
    • Five persons of interest or “potential targets” whose cellular data indicated their movements on the evening of January 5, 2021, may have matched the movements of the suspect.

Did news outlets tell only part of the story?

Quote:D.C. pipe bomb suspect disliked both political parties and felt violence would be justified, prosecutors say

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna251280

Sunday's court filing alleges Cole had animosity for both political parties at a time when, he told investigators, he was "watching everything, just everything getting worse."

The filing said he made the statements to FBI agents who interviewed him at the bureau's Washington field office after his arrest. The request filed Sunday was written by Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles Jones.

NBC News, citing three sources familiar with the matter, previously reported that Cole confessed to having planted the pipe bombs in an interview with FBI agents. Two sources familiar with the matter also previously told NBC News that Cole believed in conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.
In Sunday's filing, prosecutors alleged that Cole told agents that if people thought "something as important as voting in the federal election is being tampered with ... then, like, someone needs to speak up, right? Someone up top."
The "people up top" included public figures "on both sides" who should not ignore people's grievances or call them “conspiracy theorists,” “bad people,” “Nazis” or “fascists," according to the filing.
"If people feel that their votes are like just being thrown away, then ... at the very least someone should address it," Cole was quoted as saying.

Cole JR left two bombs because he wasn’t happy with either party.
