That has not changed at all. He lied.
Anyone tuning in to watch Kimmel now does so fully knowing that he lies to them, but they don't care because he says what they want to hear, even if it's not true.
Much the same as the MAGA crew tune in to every speech Donald Trump makes and they adore him, not caring that he's lying.
Left/right = Same/same
They don't care if they are being lied to as long as it leans whatever way they want politically.
Well, we will see what the psychologists say during the court trial. So far many are leaning towards lone wolf theory without anything to do with leftist radicalization, which you and others were pushing. So if Trump can push the which side to blame lie then why can't Kimmel?

Your version of such.
Where are the links to support the nonsense you are spouting?

If the shooter was under the impression that his act would make America great again then perhaps he was MAGA.
So was Kimmel lying?

I am not 'pushing' anything. I'm restating what the FBI and the Gov. of Utah have said the investigation was revealing.
First you started out claiming the shooter was Alt-Right, then you tried to push that he was a Moosad/Mosad patsy, then you went with groypers (or some such thing), then you had another false theory (can't remember since you have had so many), and now you are trying the 'lone wolf' thing .... desperate to have the shooter be anything except a lefty. Entertaining ... and oh so predictable.

No, they have not.
And you can't do so.
And if you're done, is because you know you have been well and properly cooked and called out on your bull@ap.
You hate that Jimmy is back and the will of the people prevailed.
Next.

Nope. You said 'who are the liars?'. I answered you. Kimmel lied. He stated that the shooter was MAGA and that MAGA was trying to distance themselves from that. That's a flat out lie. No 'wait to see what the psychologists say' ... Kimmel lied. OBVIOUSLY.

I was speculating on different rational theories, you were pushing just one thing as was Trump so he could crack down on his enemies that butthurt his feelings. They jumped to conclusions - not facts - and you lapped it up with fervor.
I ended up speculating on nihilist violent extremism, which may be the likely explanation.
I'm here to please and push truth out there.

Kimmel lied the same way Trump lied - both had no facts - both blamed the other side. It's what all of you do. I see it here on DI constantly.

The only reason why Nexstar removed Kimmel was because of trying to increase it's audience, getting the rules changed and sucking up to Trump.

Quote:The suspension of the Jimmy Kimmel show by ABC has prompted protests outside the Hollywood theater where the show is taped amid allegations of government censorship.
At the heart of the free-speech dustup over Jimmy Kimmel sits ABC affiliate owner Nexstar - the largest local broadcasting group in the country that wants to get bigger and needs the government's help to do so.
For Nexstar, this posed a potential problem. Just last month, the company, which owns over 200 stations across the country, had reached a deal to acquire Tegna Inc. (TGNA), owner of 64 television stations, for $6.2 billion. But to allow the deal to go through, the government will need to make a major change to long-standing rules putting a cap on the number of households one company can reach.
The rules are complex and have remained in place in some form for years, and some observers have argued that only Congress can change them. Regardless, without the administration's sign-off, the Nexstar-Tegna deal would undoubtedly fail to go through.
Trump administration appeared open to changing 'arcane' rules
Carr and the Trump administration have signaled that they are prepared to change the television-station ownership rules. Carr has called the rules "arcane" and "artificial" and has argued that they put local station owners at a disadvantage compared with companies like Netflix Inc (NFLX).
When announcing the Tegna deal, Nexstar's chairman and CEO Perry Sook, took the opportunity to praise Trump, saying his administration offered "local broadcasters the opportunity to expand reach, level the playing field, and compete more effectively with the Big Tech and legacy Big Media companies that have unchecked reach and vast financial resources."
Media watchdogs have called foul, saying the pre-emption move was a blatant attack on free speech and the result of corporate backroom dealing and cowardice in the face of bullying from the administration.
"They're abusing their power to shake down media companies with their dangerous demands for dishonest coverage and Orwellian compliance with the administration's political agenda. This is nothing more than censorship and extortion," said Craig Aaron, the co-CEO of Free Press, a media and technology watchdog that has opposed changing the media ownership rules.
"Nexstar is willing to sacrifice any semblance of independence or integrity to smooth the path for its next megamerger," Aaron added. "This is a new low for the FCC and corporate media - and that's saying something."
"Denial is a common tactic that substitutes deliberate ignorance for thoughtful planning."
