Because what he said was dead wrong.
Therefore it is spreading misinformation.
Doesn't matter if someone believes it or not.
The fact is what he said was dead wrong and he spread it.

And then was going to double down on it in another broadcast.  That is beyond any reasonable behavior.

I read Kimmel stated those words on a Monday's taping and the show was aired on a Wednesday, the Monday was before any FBI guessing was put out and/or Trump's blaming the left and going after Antifa organization, where there is no organization. So Kimmel was just like the rest of us on Monday, speculating as to who, what and the why of it all.

Is he posting proof of that statement?  If there is evidence, why wouldn’t Kimmel keep the argument going on social media.
