Jimmy Kimmel pulled from the air over false comment about Kirk murder

The statement was that it couldn't be misinformation if he actually believed it.
And that's blatantly false.
Misinformation is misinformation .. doesn't matter what form it's in or how much a person may believe it.
Kimmel lied.
Either he knew he was lying, or he's an idiot .. but either way he was spreading misinformation on purpose.

HE LIED.
And there are lots of lemmings out there screaming that they want him to keep lying to them.
They are no better than the MAGA crew who luv up on Trump even though he lies to them as well.
Same mentality.

I don’t think you could watch a one hour segment on any cable news channel without seeing something that was a lie or wrong.

I don’t even think his was the biggest offender in recent history. We’ve been lied into wars, lied into economic turmoil all aided by the media.

Him saying it was maga was dumb. There’s no evidence that he was currently in that camp to my knowledge. But I also see people (even in positions of power) saying this was done by the collective left, and saying consequences to the collective left are coming. Maybe Robinson did have some connections and help, I don’t believe that’s public yet.

So, ultimately, here’s the problem. No one is ever going to agree on what the “truth” is ever again. We’re past that time if it ever existed. I think Kimmel saying he was maga is wrong. I think others saying all of the left did this is wrong. And I think they all have the right to be wrong.

I can come to my own conclusions without the help of politicians, MSM, pundits and influencers. And while I don’t trust the information landscape since it’s riddled with bias and propaganda, I don’t trust anyone to tell me what is right and wrong, so I’d like to come to that conclusion myself without the government deciding what is “good for me”.

The left played cancel culture and strong arming, and that’s why they lost. Using their actions to justify new renditions of it are as wrong as the original transgressions.

The FCC regulates broadcast TV. Added.  And radio. They very much can regulate content if it doesn’t meet the FCC guidelines.  Like why things have to be bleeped out and why live radio has dump buttons.

Which still has what to do with an employer firing a late night host comedian making a statement that was a false where affiliates refused to broadcast the host, and the host has been losing ratings and not even averaging 150,000 viewers each night.

The narrative must be maintained so that the fragile leftists have something to REEEE about.

What research.  It’s a fact you can’t say and have certain content on broadcast stations.  Why certain words and graphic gestures have to be beeped out and blurred.  Why stations have dump buttons to stop broadcasting.  Why airing NFL wardrobe malfunctions are a no no.

They know Jimmy has no recourse as far as the FCC goes.
If Jimmy has a beef, he can go after ABC and Disney, they’re the ones who did it.
They may eat their own again, that’s what they’re good at.

Yes they do.  Most notably -  FCC does regulate "profane" and "indecent" language on public broadcast television and radio during certain hours.    You can't say 'fuck' on regular TV stations.   FCC says so.

He was losing viewers and losing the company money, the only real recourse he has is to go after them for early termination of his contract, unless he did not renegotiate out the "at will clause" Hollywood keeps in their contracts. But, with less than a year left on his contract anyways, he ain't going to get squat.

I was specifically referring to what Kimmel said, and it stands, they have no right to do or say anything pertaining to what Kimmel said.
