On another note ... this says that those people on the left are just fine with being lied to and having the left lie, as long as it furthers their left wing 'cause'.   Which is very sad.   The people on the right do the same thing, of course, but we are watching it play out in lefty-land in real time right now.   Fascinating to watch how lemmings think.

The problem started with affiliates that didn’t want to air Kimmel’s lie opening them up to lawsuits concerning slander and liable.

Agreed that Trump should ignore them.   But Trump isn't the one that got Kimmel fired.  Kimmel did that on his own.

Again, weird that you don't understand the basics of a person working for a corporation getting fired for being a liability versus an elected official not being able to be fired for lying.

Trump lies.   All politicians lie.  You can't fire them except not to vote for them.   That's different from someone like Kimmel being a liability .. with ratings that are tanking and with his contract up and with him telling flat out lies that hurt the country.

While I agree there are a lot of censoring in general, this Kimmel situation is not a case of censoring.  It was slander, which is in fact illegal.  In fact, it broke the FFC's regulations. (Nextstar is also trying to get the FCC's approval for an upcoming merger. Just an FYI.)

Not for simply lying.   
If that were the case the Oval Office would be empty all the time.

He can be 25th amendmented for not being up for it mentally.
But that's a high bar to jump ... and if they didn't get it done for 
Biden who was clearly mentally incapacitated, they won't get it for Trump.
And that's different than telling lies.
