It's the End of the World... again
#41
Actually there's two events that have to happen before the rapture.  They are.

1. The fall of Iran.  It appears that the end times of Daniel are repeating.  And it appears that was predicted by Jesus Christ in Matthew 24.    The US has conquered 2 nations in the middle east but the prophecy of the ram and goat predicts 3 nations fall.  Iran currently looks like it's going to be #3.   Just wondering what stupid thing they pull to get the government there destroyed.

2. Then there's the little matter of the end of the times of the Gentiles in Luke 21.   To put it simply the Jews have to reclaim all of Jerusalem before the end times happen.  I'm expecting that once Hamas is neutralized along with Iran we're going to hear the Jews sacrificed a bull on the Temple Mount.  And that's when all hell breaks loose.

24   ...and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

One last thing.  Per Zechariah 6 they need a branch to rebuild the temple.   So apparently someone is going to show up to rebuild it.   And according to Revelation the branches are also the two witnesses of Revelation.   So a holy man is going to show up really soon with the powers of Jesus Christ and be what the Jews call the Ben Joseph messiah.   And apparently he gets killed shortly after the sacrifice of the bull.

Edgar Cayce said for some people's souls it can take up to three days for it to realize it's new state then detach from that which is our physical body/world, but that depends on your beliefs of an afterlife, soul ascension, etc. If one dabbles in deep meditative states, does OBEs, etc., then one will realize right away their new state and will progress however they will.

I believe you said that you were not dead very long, is that right?

I am at a loss to understand why some people's religious leaders haven't stepped up to discourage this behaviour. I've seen on the news people selling their homes/cars, giving thousands of dollars away, etc. One psychologist is worried some people will kill themselves and/or their family members then themselves to kickstart the rapture.

Religious leaders and the Vatican should not be silent during mass religious madness events such as this.

""Origins of the Modern Rapture Doctrine

The modern rapture teaching emerged in the 19th century, largely through the work of John Nelson Darby, a Protestant theologian. Darby developed a system called dispensationalism, which divides history into distinct periods with different divine plans. He proposed that Christ would return secretly to remove believers before a seven-year tribulation, followed by a second public return. This idea gained traction among evangelical and fundamentalist groups, especially in the United States. It was later popularized by works like the Scofield Reference Bible and the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins.

Catholic scholars note that this teaching has no precedent in the first 1,800 years of Christian history. Early Church Fathers, such as St. Augustine and St. Jerome, never mentioned a secret rapture. Instead, they focused on a single, triumphant return of Christ. The novelty of the rapture doctrine raises questions about its biblical foundation. Its absence from early Christian tradition suggests it is a modern innovation, not a scriptural truth.

How cold was the water? How far down did your body temperature drop? I'm thinking hypothermia, which can resemble death sometimes.

Was August but water was cold but not that cold.

I had a heart attack, no pulse until CPR brought me back.

I'm reading that hypothermia can stop the heart and hypothermia is quicker when submerged in cold water. I just don't think you actually died, per se, but you were close if not for getting help quickly.

Plus, the drowning thing.  My consultant confirmed that I died.
