Just before Covid changed everything my Darlin' and me were planning on taking the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Toronto, with a side excursion to Churchill, Manitoba to see the Aurora Borealis; my Darlin' has never seen them. Hasn't ever seen a moose either, far as that goes.
We weren't positive we could handle the relatively small sleeping quarters, even with the sleeper plus cabin, however the bi-deck glass would make things open, and we've always been able to adapt to whatever the world has thrown at us, especially when we've chosen it.
We were prepared to go all in, make it a once-in-a-lifetime thing, take three weeks to do it, and with side trips before and after to folk in the U.S., we were looking at a month and a half gone.
Canada and Alaska are both magnificent. It's more than just big. Much of it is still wild and unspoiled and unique. So much freshwater, rivers and lakes. When I was a much younger man, I did a fair amount of paddling at Great Slave Lake and other places.
I still have hope we'll someday get there.
I can't say I "know" Canada. I've only sample a very minute part of it. My buddy who lives on PEI feels the same way.
I would answer you, "what is there NOT to see?" I am told there is a zipline in Whistler, but I've never been on it or any other zipline. Vancouver is (or was) a beautiful city. It always reminded me of Amsterdam, for it's views and general atmosphere. Have fun!

Okay. got you. I found this site, which promises 20 Canadian Tourist Traps That Are A Total Letdown. Hopefully the cheesyness you seek can be found somewhere there within.
You might enjoy the Maple Syrup Museum in Ontario, however it may have too much history and historic artifacts to really adress your desired level of shlock. Have faith though; it's possible there is a syrup harvesting demonstration that may serve.

Would walking up to penis rocks during low tide interest you? LOL
"The term "Penis Rock" is a colloquial nickname sometimes used informally to describe certain rock formations in the Bay of Fundy, particularly the Hopewell Rocks (also known as Flowerpot Rocks). These unique formations, shaped by the world’s highest tides, include tall, column-like structures that some visitors liken to phallic shapes due to their appearance."

Or try Canadian snacks like ketchup flavoured chips for a thrill.

I live in Nova Scotia. Have traveled all over the Maritimes ,and back and forth through Quebec and Ontario.
Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island are just as scenic as Nova Scotia.
As for touristy things to do, it really depends on what you like and what you would be interested in seeing or experiencing.
Some say Peggys Cove is over-rated, but I've been there almost a dozen times and each experience was unique.
Traveling is always time well spent.

I have been as a far as Niagra Falls!
I remember you go by (Six Flags) Darian Lake, mercifully pass around Buffalo, cross the Rainbow Bridge, and then there's a tourist street that had places you could spend colored money with The Queen on it at. I used to want to buy hockey pucks becuse that's the souvenir you bought when you were in Canada. There was also a tower with those viewer things and the boat that took you under the waterfall.
I wish i could give you a more adult answer but I was 12 last time I was in Canada.

I live near Detroit. Detroit boarders Canada. You can take the tunnel from Detroit to Windsor. It’s a one mile tunnel that goes under the Detroit river.
The drinking age in Canada is 18. In high school we would get Bobs ID that made you 18.
So you can drink in Canada at a young age and go to strip bars. In 1990 when I was 16 the tunnel to Canada would leak near the middle. It was sweet! lol.
I learned how to go through customs at an early age. We would lie when they asked us where are you going. The agents knew we were going to drink.
Canadians say “Eh” after every sentence. Lol
Canadian bacon. They have special pigs in Canada. Oink
Be kind to everyone!
