All in All, I am just not sure what people expect from the US. Open borders? A country without borders is not a country. I have a  feeling it has to do with inciting as much pressure on people to want to vote Democratic next election or it is about keeping the seats they already have (Democrats Mayors and Governors). These govt officials should be trying to calm people down and not getting people to "campaign" for them. 

Enough of the media also. The news now days is so left or so right its makes me vomit. Just tell the news in a neutral fashion. Whats so hard about it?

I believe the insurrection act gives Trump full legal authority to commandeer those troops.  Failure to comply at that point would be treason (punishable by death).  The smart move would be to stand down.
