The vehicle makes her armed.  That's the law.

You don’t get to stab someone and get to run off.  In fact, there is a liability issue if they go on to stab another person.

Same with the car.  Once the drive choose to ignore lawful commands with weaponizing the vehicle, it became like law enforcement telling you to drop the knife.
