Now if the topic had started out as a horror news story about a rape of a woman or girl there would be five or six men bragging "if it was one of my female relatives, the rapist wouldn't live to see a trial!!!"

I don't want to make myself even less popular but I don't like dogs. I've always been scared of them ever since getting chased by a pack as a child.

Unless the OP is a dictator or the deciding vote in parliament for a law, it shouldn't matter.
