I support abortion because I don't think rapists should be allowed to be fathers

I'm slightly amused by this thread. As the OP observed, abortion turns some people into rape apologists.

Now if the topic had started out as a horror news story about a rape of a woman or girl there would be five or six men bragging "if it was one of my female relatives, the rapist wouldn't live to see a trial!!!"

Uh? I don't know what you meant, can you be more straight forward because I think that you are using my argument wrong. Also what rape has to do with abortion?? The OP is messing those things together like absolutes and there is a universe of things in between that are not so simple to claim as truth while typing from mom's attic

Absurd.  No one here even remotely came close to being a 'rape apologist'.   What we all have done is state the obvious .. that demanding that women be forced to abort their children is wrong.   And the OP stated his motivation for demanding forced abortions was his own jealousy that someone else was having children and that women (wisely) reject him.   He's unbalanced.   Nothing 'rape apology' about it.

Unless the OP is a dictator or the deciding vote in parliament for a law, it shouldn't matter.

I believe it most definitely is.

They got you hook, line, and sinker. Is Rage bait why you support abortions? I think there are cases where it can be allowed but for the most part it is murder. Lets say we make a federal law for abortions would you compromise to 3 anytime abortions and an infinite amount rape and medical reasons abortions?

Some people glorify violence. Were you suggesting some violence should happen to the OP?

Previously, I stated that adultery should be a capital offence in some cases.

Take Pete Hegseth for instance:
She said rape,
he said consensual.

But he knew she was married. He is a blatant adulterer. That's the sort of person who upon his own admission should be sentenced.

But no, a serial adulterer chooses him, a majority of Senators confirm, and now he is murdering with impunity and is quite giddy over it, as is the serial adulterer who picked him.

America sucks as a "moral" system.
There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people. - Commander William Adama
I think I can see why a certain poster is not getting female attention....and its not due to his looks.

This is simply incel rage bait from a bitter man frustrated that he cant get laid due his shitty personality.

And DI T&C states that each poster is responsible for their own posts.

A controversial statement should cause some thought, rather than a lashing out.

Think: what do rape and anti-abortion laws have in common?
No choice for the woman.

The system is rigged against women's choice.

In a binary system where choice is excluded, then either no abortion or mandatory abortion. In which case, why reward rapists?

In case you haven't noticed, everyone that is not "you" is "other people".

Difference is you could have if you wanted to. It was never an option for me.
