I was one of the very lucky ones. I have friends who are suffering from LC -- their primary physicians have reached that conclusion, although there isn't a test -- but their effects are FAR more dire than mine. Long Covid, for some, gradually tears a person down through the destruction of their immune system, and it's a heartbreaker. It is horrible for anyone to have to watch their loved one spiral down without any medical methodology that can positively affect it.
I was one of the very lucky ones. I pray for those where weren't so lucky, and that is who I wrote this thread for. I am hoping that this mostly anecdotal information is useful to a medical researcher that might just possibly maybe long stretch gain an insight that makes a difference.
