So... it's holding the nerves of the world hostage for mineral rights? Still hoping it is that. Because it is no more than 27% support for military action.  

That's not democratic. That's telling us what you're going to do and not giving congress an option to be a representative government for the people and oppose it.

And before you think it, EVERY other time we did something (like Iraq) without congressional approval, there was at least support of 70% Nationally. In 2003 there was up to 75% support to invade, and a coalition of Western allies.
