Who even cares about these awards anymore?  A bunch of kissasses that want to relive high school cliques? The false self importance of belonging?  Talk about a “good old boy’s club”?  Just a bunch of entitled people slapping each other on the back.  Know what would make the award shows more interesting.  Maybe give an award out for the most heroic action by a first responder.  The charity that built the most homes for disaster survivors.  The charity that helped get the most homeless vets off the streets into safe lodging.  Too many awards like that, and it will bring into light the illusion that is Hollywood. 

Might as well offer your dirty underwear.  Because those awards are just the product of BS and pissing and moaning about the right subject to virtual signal.  


What of real value could Kimmel offer up instead?

I think ole Jimmy needs to see the light. Same for Colbert.   The only way that will ever happen as they are in the One Percenter Popular Boys Elitist Club to serve the Master Party aka Democrats and whomever pulls the DNC strings.
