I Have…Made A Mistake
#1
[Image: IMG_1929.jpeg]

I have made mistakes.

I have, added wrong…My wrong math made me think and fix…1+1=1…

I have, spelled wrong…Now I go back, reread and learn better spitting…

I have, run out of gas…Now I carry water in my car…oops, I wrecked my engine…

I have, been ungrateful…Now I don’t have any friends…

I have, not believed in myself,,,Now I look in the mirror and lie…

Now I, buy stocks on the day of the crash…I have sold 20 bitcoin at $700.00

Now I, spend time with the wrong people…I have, cried.

You have, been such a good person…

I want, you to love you…

I need, you to love you…

I wish, I never loved you…

I wish, you never loved me…

I love you so much that I want you to learn from every mistake you make…

It’s really good to make mistakes. Everything we do is a lesson.

Don’t tie your kids shoe. Like my dad did…

We are all codependent with ourselves, there is nowhere else to go.

"Failures are successes in progress"

"Math came from consciousness, not the other way around"

"For the average citizen with average wealth to think they can succeed in the stock market is a futile endeavour"

"Buy your kids shoes with velcro or slipons, why make life harder than it needs to be?"

"High expectations of people will always leave you disappointed, we are all flawed"

"Become your own best friend" "Reward yourself" "While you are being kind to others, don't forget to be kind to yourself"
"The only journey is the one within."

My immediate take was that this was a song of gratitude.

For the reflection which served introspection as a guide.

I get the co-dependency idea...
(but I am very confused between how it's used casually,
and how it manifests "by the book"... sort of like how 'depression' means
too many things to too many people.)

What if... this recognition of "error" was the product of love?

Perhaps I am just not in the right frame of mind.

I will share with you the mistake I just made.

A little history. I installed a rather heavy curtain rod and screwed it into the wooden framework. The weight of the rod started to pull the frame away from the wall. So I moved the rod up further and attached it to the wall. The brackets started to pull away from the wall. So I quipped "What a complete disaster"

I then needed to repair both the wooden frame and the wall damage. So I took a sample of the existing paint to the store and bought a rather expensive pint of paint to match.

I just tried the paint and guess what? I choose the wrong side of the paint sample color for the store to replicate (it was the back side and was a different paint color) and it does not match.

Now I cut off another paint sample and have to do it all again. Ugh!

 Sad

I have since bought tension rods to hang the curtains. I am done!

Ohhhh! You will never make that mistake ever again. I am trying to teach my 16 year old that life has billions of lessons every second.

That's for sure. Also teach your 16 year old that there are life's miracles to be recognized and enjoyed as well.

@Maxmars

My dad was a Marine in Vietnam. His thinking was off. He always told me to NEVER make a mistake. My dad always did everything for me and my sisters.

His thinking was if he made a mistake at war he would be killed.

I started making big mistakes later in life. I have learned now that mistakes are golden for teaching!
