Enjoy your arguments. I just wanted to know how much it was affecting you and your family, but instead Gaza, Trump, healthcare and even Ukraine got dragged into the thread.
Unfuckingbelievable…

Speaking of which, what do you think about the new baseball rule change?
Quote:Purposely over-running a base
The next change is to combat a play that had been employed by a few teams in 2024, notably the Yankees. The scenario here to consider when there are runners on first and third with two outs and there's a groundball that causes the defense to grab the force play at second to end the inning. If there's to be a close play at second, teams were teaching runners to not slow down and just keep running past the base as if it were first.
The theory was that if the player beat the throw at second and was ruled safe, the runner on third base would then score a run before the third out. Inevitably the runner going through the bag at second would then be ruled out of the baseline and the third out, but the run would still count.
The rule tweak here gives the replay official the ability to rule whether or not the runner heading through second base in this scenario has abandoned the baseline before the runner scores. If so, the run would not count.
Again, it's a small tweak, but it eliminates the ability for teams to try and game the system here and sneak a run across the board. Instead of just sprinting through the bag like it's first base, the runners will need to go back and treat the play like they normally would at second and either hold the bag or round it and head toward the next base. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mlb-p...er-report/
I think it's important to keep to the spirit of the game, but I worry that the more complex they make the rules, the more they're encouraging gaming the system.

Of course, if you only look at percentages to better promote a bias, IVF "kills" more than abortion...
If you look at the actual numbers from your source, IVF "kills" 2 million a year vs abortion killing 73 million a year, abortion has a much higher kill rate. Just goes to show you can manipulate any data you want to "prove" your bias.
But, at the same time, you are comparing the deliberate killing of a child(abortion) to someone that loses a pregnancy that was ACTUALLY TRYING to birth a child(IVF). If you truly believe those are the same, you are an absolute POS.

You are the POS for not reading the research article.
"According to the World Health Organization, there are 73 million induced abortions each year around the world and 29% of all pregnancies end in induced abortion. This means that when comparing rates — human beings are being destroyed by IVF at a higher rate than they are by abortion."
"Abortion-Related Fetal Losses
Compared to IVF, the loss of life from abortion is less, with an estimated 1,026,700 abortions in 2023, as reported by the Guttmacher Institute. The study shows that there were approximately 642,700 medical abortions, accounting for 63% of abortions in the US in 2023.
Comparing IVF and abortion, IVF contributes more to embryonic or fetal loss each year, with around 500,000-800,000 more prenatal deaths. "

As I seem to recall, following the vacating of Roe V Wade, the Left went into hyperventilating spirals about how that ruling was a slippery slope that would lead to a number bans such as interracial marriage, stem cell research, gay marriage and IVF/fertility treatments.
However, since this administration has actually worked to make IVF/fertility treatments more accessible and affordable the "Progressives" must suddenly have a problem with it.

I literally pulled numbers from YOUR article, and numbers don't lie. Unless you want to say that your article is lying about the numbers. You can't compare percentages/rates on things that are completely different.
Itis comparing apples and oranges, willful termination of a pregnancy and losing a pregnancy and not even close to the same thing, if you can't see that you truly are an awful being.
Not going to waste my time on you today, don't need you running to the mods to report me because I hurt your feelings. (You have admitted to doing so in the past, I can quote it for you if you'd like to deny it)

Dang it no one cares about baseball.
Why are the off-topic drifts always about stuff that doesn't matter, like abortion and war and politics?
