He says a lot of things.

Ever read him in transcript?  Really pathetic.

Don't care.

I don't want to pay for illegals

No one does, except the left.

Thanks for the replies folks.

Enjoy your arguments. I just wanted to know how much it was affecting you and your family, but instead Gaza, Trump, healthcare and even Ukraine got dragged into the thread.

Unfuckingbelievable…

That should tell you that it isn't affecting the regular joe or even us who work for the government.

Its all theatre.

It's all posturing for the left to proceed with their communist plans.

I actually prefer to read him to listen to him.   His mannerisms and speech are somewhat off-putting to me sometimes.  But.. when I read what he has said, often it makes sense, especially when measured against previous government, which seemed (to me) hellbent on opening the borders, welcoming people in, granting them immunity, paying for their healthcare, housing, child care, schooling, food and utilities, and scooting them toward voting.   Nobody is against 'brown people'.

Things are tight and terse in the U.S.  The government needs to fund projects that support their citizens.   The whole world is in economic peril.   The working class of the U.S. -- for the most part -- doesn't have time for much other than working their tails off, and taking care of their families, with a fond hope toward sending their kids to college. That's it.  That's the whole deal for the working class.  Most of them don't want to supress anyone.  They have to work and they expect everyone who draws benefit to do so also.  Objectivism.

While Trump keeps doing things to benefit his own pocket.  I don't think he makes a move without considering how it will benefit him.

We are not going to agree what he says makes sense -- especially in transcript.

However -- this is the topic:  How is the Government shut-down affecting you?

As I first stated -- I think it's going to be a slow roll.

We'll see if anyone on here changes their mind.

This thread is awesome and you just showed it.

The government shutdown was a non-event and the left is using it to maintain power.

I encourage you to file a report if you believe I have posted off-topic.   No problems from me or anyone else.   I thought my comment pertained to the respondent, however your mileage may differ. Thumbup
