Haiku for life

I'm not much for haiku, so I just deleted it.

The problem with the last one that I wrote is that I thought someone might get the wrong idea also "after the fact ". Sometimes these extremely brief literary pieces can go a couple different ways with the interpretation. Explicitly, my last one was a reference to Putin from within the "doomsday clock" context.

I count the syllables with my fingers so there's not much chance of messing up there unless I'm thinking 5 when it should be 7 or vice versa, and I could write haikus, play literary games, and write short pieces many times a day every day whereas FCD appears more as the articulate volume writer like your typical author just typing away – not much for brevity (IMO).

I often write something within the general cadence of a haiku, and then I go back and tweak it into compliance with the count.

I know you know what I'm talking about.   Cheers  Thumbup
