The fact that I know the subject concerns these gigantic electromagnetic lifts and catapults used on aircraft carriers just means I was paying attention at the time and not getting my news from internet memes and clips.
That basically shows the bias in the stupid "demonstration" of magnets in the ridiculous video.
Let him try dropping an electromagnet with a charge running through it in his little beaker.
It seems normal to me that someone in charge of the armed forces would evince skepticism concerning electromagnetic catapults (especially) on aircraft carriers.

Electromagnetism does propagate through water!
Please post where Dozzy Don was talking electromagnetic catapults used on Aircraft carriers because America still use steam I thought??

I pretty much guarantee Trump knowas about as much about electromagnetism as he does the Unabomber.
Of course they would be waterproofed.
Maybe Trump got a briefing on them after this.
But humid salt air can destroy them just as fast as waves washing over them.
The thing about the catapults is they normally use steam power, which has its own drawbacks in that environment, but has been established for decades and has regular maintenance procedures that have been followed by generations of sailors.
Same for the lifts, which are (were) hydraulic.
Personally, I don't know of any advantage to switching to electromagnetics. I do know it would be more expensive.

Again, you can already put as many bases as you please, within reason, where Greenland is concerned.
Seems to me you are negotiating for something you already have.
Good luck with that.
Sovereignty is still not on the table.
Not going over that again. I already gave legitimate reasons the US would want this sovereignty right here in this thread.

I would imagine most systems on the likes of aircraft carriers or exposed to the elements would be waterproofed to a certain degree.
Trump still does not understand magnets and thinks water negates them, which simply is not the case.
I don't necessarily disagree in changing the type of propulsion systems the catapults utilise.
Tried and tested wins the day, and new technology is always going to be more expensive.
Water is wet, the sky is blue....
But it's about launching speed as far as im aware, they can allegedly launch more planes with the new electromagnetic catapults.
Thats if the technology is perfected.

I think thats Denmarks line to Trump.
And you are still not getting Greenland...
Bases, those are fine, just like they always were.
