I think it's a myopic knee-jerk reaction and it's the only approach you have in a political argument that provides you the perception of having the upper hand
Don’t act like if Trump said “oxygen is the best!” the lefties wouldn’t immediately hold their breath until they passed out.
They have consistently shown they will do the opposite of America first, even if it’s to their detriment.
They are killing themselves and their comrades just to “gEt TrUmP”.
That’s not criticism, it’s the lethal final stages of TDS.

I used to call it 'liberal' but then it because apparently that they're not actually very liberal about anything that isn't what they believe.
But also interesting that you yourself label anything not aligning with absolute anti-Trumpism as "MAGA". I have never been a member of the Republican party, nor do I own any red hats.
But this direct reply aside, I'm not going to call you out for using the political terminology of the day. Except the Nazi thing. That's tiresome.
Sure
"I'm not MAGA but I'm going on DI to defend him all day long" lol
If you can show me where I've referred to you or anyone here as a Nazi, I'll apologize

The left is out to get Trump
And then you have a small group of outliers who used to support Trump until we woke up to the realization that he's just as corrupt as Democrats and career Republicans
In fact, we see no difference between Trump and Democrats
That group is consistently growing

MAGA just means Make America Great Again, I understand there are some people on both sides that think it means something horrible or extreme but for moderate people it just means making this place better for all it's actual citizens. We have taken a heavy hit from offshoring everything we need in our daily lives and bringing some of that back here is going to improve our live and make American life good again. that's all we are really asking for. I don't think it's a sinister as you might think it is.

2x Trump voter
I know what MAGA means
But you can't make America great on a foundation of corruption and lies
It won't work
it's never worked
There's two options
Either Trump fulfills his campaign promises of being the most transparent administration in history
And dismantles the deep state
Drains the swamp
Restores Truth, Justice and the American Way
Or he is so deeply embroiled in the corruption, himself that he's going to ignore the words he campaigned on and instead forge ahead on the assembly of the Technofascist AI surveillance state
There's no other option

It's been corrupt for 250 years, my God the politicians convinced the American people that George Washington was unfit for office in a power play to take the reins. So it has worked and can continue too. Our government has never at any point been some pipe dream of perfection, or a benevolent and kind nurturing caregiver to the people. We have fought for everything we have and continue to have, to keep them in check with exactly how much corruption they can get away with on a daily basis.
There is no perfect option of what you are purposing nor has there ever been in any time period in any human ruled form of government. Humans are not capable of what you are asking of them. You have to learn to compromise they don't get away with everything they want, we don't get everything we want.
Why do you think you could just sit back and someone else would have your best interest in mind? That's just not how the world works.

There you have it
You're compromised
You are willing to trade liberty in exchange for a little comfort and the illusion of security
You're satisfied with mediocrity
You sell yourself and humanity short
You're fine with pretty window dressings on a faulty foundation
It's a weak position but you're entitled to it
Maybe it's due to neurodivergent idiosyncrasies but when someone tells me they're going to do something, I expect them to do it
I don't know if you've been paying attention but the fraud and corruption have reached unsustainable levels
The system is cracking
Like I said
Either Trump addresses the root cause of all the problems
And returns power to the people through truth and transparency
Or he's getting busy building your new digital prison
Enjoy

The Fraud is unsustainable, Half of us are trying to push the government to do something about it while the other half try to burn it all to the ground for completely different reasons.
I haven't sold anyone short, it is exactly what it is, you might think people are capable of perfection but there will always be some that will actively work against that and the one's capable of more aren't perfect and never will be. that includes you.
If I'm compromised then you are as well because you are also not perfect. I would argue your position of overblown expectations is a weaker position since it's impracticable and unattainable.

I didn't say perfection is attainable
Perfection is not attainable
That doesn't mean you shouldn't strive for it
If you're not striving for perfection
Then what are you striving for?

In life I strive for the best I can do.
From humanity I hope for continual improvement. That a majority of people choose to take even the smallest of steps in a direction that leads to a better future for everyone. It's not all or nothing or I don't care how I want it now. It takes time and pressure to get even 10% of the changes in human attitude you are looking for. It's measurable even with the corruption in play we have enough recorded history to prove that.
For clarity the type I pressure I'm speaking of isn't from brute force, It's the natural pressure of life in a society.
